Is there actually anyone reading these?
How about this: Select the PS5 game to play. Eject the disk to play something else. Put it back in. It resets to the PS4 version. If you don't notice and play that for a few days (the PS4 version is practically indistinguishable), any trophy you earn on that version is split from the other version.
This is so hokey. They need to get rid of this "versions" garbage and just give the game a proper singular upgrade version installed.
Going to just quit the game for a few months to play Cyberpunk and check back in February or so to see if things are fixed.
I have a question regarding install size. I've heard in some discussions an install size as small as 18GB
My install size is... 90 GB. Yes, 90 GB. Holy moly. That's a lot of space on my PS5 SSD.
So, I installed from a PS4 disc... that was ~45 GB or so. Then I installed the PS5 upgrade. This didn't modify or "upgrade" the PS4 install, it just gave me a whole other new ~45 GB game. In the Menu I select PS5 Version to play.
I remove the PS4 version in settings the storage section so it doesn't take up SSD space... but it keeps re-installing the game. I can't uninstall the PS4 version without it coming back due to the disk being in the drive.

My question is... Am I stuck with massive SSD file space usage for these games if I am playing the PS5 upgrade version? Anyone else have any data?
If I am playing the PS5 version, any way to remove the PS4 version and keep it from re-installing?

I have a question and I'll just add it to your question with comments for your benefit.
