I still have the opposite problem. The patch allowed me to spawn inside the shield, mine is still red, and no matter how many Jotun I kill the mission will not progress. I too am level 400+ and have nothing else to do but Asgard. I really want a NG+ but not until all of this stuff is actually fixed.

Yes, same issue PS4/PS5. Please fix this. I have 56 hours into the game and really do not want to start over for this. Thank you!

Patch 1.0.4 has been installed and IT DID NOT FIX THIS BUG!!!! Plus, I play on PS5 and I have NO haptic feedback now!!!! Come on Ubi, you can do better than this. How about ANY comment on this Asgard bug. It's ridiculous at this point.

With all due respect the quest is completely broken. As others have mentioned, yes, you now respawn in the shield. But now you are eternally trapped in the shield. No matter how many Jotun you kill the mission never progresses. I have paid close attention to what happens. There seems to be a nearby spawn point for 4 Jotun who patrol the area. It seems the quest recognizes them as part of the assault and will not progress. By the time you go outside the shield to attract or defeat those 4 another 4 spawn.

This issue deserves the Hotfix treatment ASAP. It is impossible to do anything in Asgard with this bug. I'm level 400+ now with 160 hours invested. I would really like to be able to complete an area of the game that I was supposed to do around level 90. Please elevate this issue with the team. Thank you.

I'm level 379 with 140 hours into the game. Asgard is the one major thing I have not been able to complete because of this bug. Here's hoping it gets fixed in the next patch or two.

There's no mention of this issue being addressed in title update 1.1.1 releasing tomorrow. I truly cannot believe we're going to go into month 3 without a resolution to this bug.

Ah yes. It was awesome this morning be able to spawn inside the shield inside Asgard. I was so happy. Then I spent an hour trying to actually finish the quest AND I COULDN'T!!!!! Killed every Jotun in sight. Tried changing languages. Tried everything and the quest WOULD NOT PROGRESS!!!!!! Ubisoft can you PLEASE FIX THIS DAMN QUEST or let us start Asgard over again. I really do not want to wait another month for a potential fix. Very annoyed.

I have the PS5 upgrade for the original PS4 disc. When I "Check for Updates" on the PS5 version it says I have the latest version. When I launch the game I am still at version 1.2.2.1. However, the PS4 update downloaded and installed automatically. So, my PS4 version is 1.3 and my PS5 version is 1.2.2.1. I have confirmed that I have enough free space for the download and have not received any errors.

Please let me know what I need to do to update the PS5 version to 1.3

I know all of Odin's runes have been found in England but could it all be the key to something back in Norway? I went searching for the Eye of Jormundgandr that Dag mentions in one of his stories, east of Fornburg as he said. I'm sure this was found months ago but way in the mountains due east of Fornburg there is a temple and a small pond. The temple has trees around it and actually has a location diamond on it but it is completely out of bounds. If you fly with Synin and stay far enough away you can clearly make out the temple. I'm sure there's a post about this somewhere and I just missed it.

Would someone be so kind as to tell me what the community's interpretation of the rune is?

The chest tattoo in the Yule festival set has a compass. The "rune" that depicts East on the tattoo compass looks very much like the three horizontal lines on the Odin rune and the North "rune" is similar to the swoosh on the right. With the map overlays the community has done I was wondering if anyone has flipped and rotated the rune or tried to manipulate the rune in any way. It definitely looks like a bind rune (two or more runes combined) with, at least, three separate runes. Apologies if this has all been covered already.

Hello everyone. Sorry, I am new to this particular thread. I have briefly seen the videos on youtube referring to the Odin runes. I was too busy starting the game over (in my first game, 195+ hours, I couldn't progress past "Defensive Measures" in Asgard. Second playthrough is going better with respect to Asgard. Can't believe how much there is after "Defensive Measures"!).

I have read through many posts here and I will start looking around as well. I just hope we're not following a dead end quest like the Ragnar death pit. My only questions is has the community just been focused on the England map or has someone tried to piece this all together using the England, Norway, Vinland, Asgard and Jotenheim maps?

Yes, I just checked and saw that at least one piece of armor, the Galloglach armor, duplicated and was reset to a lower gear level.

The new Starter Pack includes 2 new weapons and a shield. If you go to upgrade them at the Blacksmith they do not appear in your items list. You can equip them in the inventory menu but just cannot upgrade at the Blacksmith. I saved, closed the game, started again and still the items are still not available to upgrade.

Side note, the ship items in the pack are probably the best in the game.
