

Had the same issue with Miles Morales so realised it must be a PS5 thing rather than a game thing.
I’ve worked out the issue. The PS5 sound settings can see my surround sound, but thinks it is 7.1 rather then 5.1. The voices were through the 2 unavailable channels.
And I had also had to change the audio format to Dolby rather than PCM.

I bought the Gold Edition at launch which means I get the expansion DLC as well. Wished I hadn’t.
I genuinely have no desire to play any of it until they fix this Pig bug.
I do imagine though that most devs who are still on the project are working on the new content and are not charged with sorting out the mess left behind.
That the bug is still “under investigation” is frankly ridiculous. This term evidently means “we’re not fixing it any time soon”
But its all a bit like going to the hospital and the medics saying “ah yes, we can see the fork sticking out of your leg, but we need to investigate”. Four months later you still have a fork sticking out of your leg because the doctors have been doing something else and they’ve had to get a hospital spokesperson to provide you with a “someone will be with you shortly” message.
Come on Ubi - even just a “it’s being worked on and will be fixed by <insert date here>” would be something
Looks like this is not being fixed in patch 1.1.1. Sigh.

further to that, I am aware from other forums that there are plenty of other users out there who have this same issue but have not reported it here
So, I get that lockdown is making everything soooo much slower, and I appreciate that means communications between various functions at Ubi are probably not as slick as usual, but having worked in Games Dev in the past I do think this should be a pretty easy one to fix - either reset the flag (and keep resetting it if fails to complete on next refresh), or mark it as complete for everyone.
(of course I may be wrong and it may genuinely be an evil bug regressed out of some other game state)
But yes, at least stick it in the known bug list please!
As I’ve said previously, we’re all REALLY frustrated that this silly little bug has not yet been fixed. And yes, the response has not been very good.
But a reminder that abusive and rude messages are unlikely to get Ubi to want to fix your problem.

Any news on fixing the broken content from the initial launch that is causing the issues? It’s really frustrating
I had a similar game-completion bug on Odyssey (picking up some sunken treasure before getting the quest for it stopped you getting the ‘get all the sunken treasure’ trophy), but this did get fixed after about 2 months.
This pig issue is now 3 months, and we still have no idea of when it is being sorted
Look, I understand that getting anything done under Covid is a lot more challenging, and that different teams work on different parts of the game post-launch (hence the tonne of microtransactions for armor sets), but it would be good to know this issue WILL be fixed.
Note to other posters here - share your frustration everyone, but being almost abusive ain’t going to help. Keep it civil eh?
Been playing River Raids. There are bugs in that...
BUT I’ve been pettily killing every pig I now find in the game. Doesn’t change the stupid Pig of Prophecy bug, but it does make me feel a bit better.
FWIW, you can comfortably walk the length of the real British mainland in less time than this bug has taken to be fixed

I now have all the other trophies (including the cruddy Overdesigned one), and am now stuck on 97% completion thanks to this one issue.
