@Ubi-Mark I agree with kakalambalala. I think it would make more sense if you split this in 3 threads:

• Those who haven't played the game and never got further than the splash screen crashing (without error dialogs)
• Those who haven't played the game but are getting an error message (with error dialog or possible BSOD)
• Those who have played the game but are crashing/freezing (possible with error dialogs or BSOD)

@eksilipilav Hm, I would think the "radar_pre_leak" has to do with memory leakage or if running out of memory?

Here are some documentation that can help find out if there is any memory leak issue:

If the log indicates lack of memory (without being able to get more RAM at the moment), another way around would be to make a larger "Page File", thereby adding more virtual memory to the system, though it is slower and will shorten the lifespan of the disk a little.

@x1tintin1x Well found! I only have an M.2 SSD, so guess I have to wait.

So there seems to be at least two reasons that prevent the game from starting:

• Using an M.2 interface rather than SATA for an SSD
• Using the latest AMD/NVIDIA drivers

Have Ubisoft been testing this game with an M.2 SSD or the newest graphics drivers?

Also it seems the game can be damaging as few are reporting their PC cannot boot again after crashing!

I got my game work. I chance Nvidia drivers 472,12 to 461,40

Weird, everyone is told to update to the latest driver.

Does this mean the game doesn't support the latest nvidia drivers, as you got the game running by downgrading the driver?

I'm crashing from splash screen also using a Ryzen 9 5900X.

Maybe the game doesn't support the newest CPU's? Though, it wouldn't make any sense as I got the game buying the CPU.

@lollylion That sounds crazy... are you saying your PC can't boot anymore after the game crash?

@thomsegregore I have the same issue and also went through all suggestions on the article.

It would have been nice with a message showing what the error actual is about.
