Its my 1st time preordering with ubisoft direct. Honestly, i ordered this game, far cry 6 and immortals to take advantage of the 20% off instead of buying from my usual retailer for full price. Saved me £60 ish lol.
Lets hope valhalla comes on time, not that it matters, its my xmas present from my dad so not allowed to open it hahaha

Not rly, i finished that event within an hour, you aint missing much.
The quests and events are bugged, the brawl event is glitchy as hell, the archery event is bugged when the targets sometimes are the wrong way so your left confused as to why shooting the target gives no points, the drinking one seems to be the only event not bugged but its the one that give the least amount of tokens.
The quests....well the markers go off map so you have to listen properly and guess where to go instead, or the ale in the ale quest dissappears apparently, theres other bugs im sure but i either havent encountered them or havent read about them yet.
Oh and the armour you can buy with tokens isnt that great tbh.

In other words, i think the event is not only broken but is also a colossal waste of time. (Less than an hour in my case)
But if you want to get it working dont just reload, go to a previous save if you can to see if that helps, if not lets hope the developers fix the issues and maybe make this event more fun.

@guest-03zhe3gh it depends on where you are but id say if u paid for overnight shipping it'll either ship today or Monday. If its overnight you should get it on tues if there are no delays but with covid they cant help it if there is a short delay. My ultimate edition didnt ship for me til last night and ive still not had a shipping email, its updated to shipped on my order details on the ubistore though. I would check there too just in case.

I am trying to find a way to fish a lot faster and less grindy. Ive read online its possible to throw an oil barrel in the water and shoot it to kill multiple fish at once but when ive tried it the barrel disappears. Anyone found any easier ways to fish? I cant seem to catch the ones i need.

Thats great, and yeah i didnt know about it before and i happened to have just over 100 points so i cancelled the order i had with Game and made it through ubisoft instead.
Cant wait til it comes, with lockdown ill be able to read the box at least before my dad comes to take it away til xmas

@marinerlsn isnt that the preorder bonus mission? I thought it didnt work til release day for those who bought it digitally and that codes wouldnt be sent out to ppl until its officially released for those who bought physical versions.
I know i havent had my code sent yet.

Anyone? Im Finding fishing boring tbh and shooting the fish wastes arrows that are in short supply in this game.
I also think it should be easier to find the fish ppl need, an icon on the map or something showing which fish is where once the book from vendor is purchased.

@doctorholic i agree, streamers/reviewers who dont pay for the game should only be able to play a demo of the game, not the whole thing. Most of them will move onto a new game, never to return to it, in just a few days so giving them the whole game is pointless.

@marinerlsn i may not work for ubisoft in any way but i can tell you that you will get it on release day so thats this tues at some point. At least thats what ive been told.

@saintlystorms we will have to let each other know lol. So whoever gets theirs first and sets its up, installs the game and gets online first post here to let the other know fingers crossed it all carries over

Maybe power lvl has something to do with the multiplier or town lvl.

My power lvl is at 400 plus 90 mastery. And my settlement is at max lvl. But i doubt that impacts what you get.

@jandraelune i think its bugged for u then because if you google the event a number of sites will confirm what i said. Plus i did the event so i know what i got. I scored 1200 on archery most times and got 40 tokens and when i didnt i got 30 for getting over 1100. As for the brawl it is definitely 70 at the end as i did that 3 times. I didnt even need to do the drinking game for its measly 10 tokens.
Like i said i managed to buy everything from the token guy within an hour of starting the event.

@jandraelune actually i did it within an hour. Its only the drinking event that gives 10, the brawl event gives 70 upon completing 10 rounds, theres 2 quests that give 140 each i think, and theres the archery event that gives 30 for a score of over 1100 and 40 if its over 1200, both scores are easy to get if you are a good shot.

@ferenczinho other than ubisoft i dont know, but unless one of them answer this post you may have to do a support ticket but they can take days to answer either way.

@nico2000nl lol i bought everything from the festival store in under an hour, did the quests and spammed the shooting one getting 1200 points at least each time for max tokens. Ive now put the game back in the box because until new dlc comes out ive completed the game lol
As for the skills, something tells me new ones are coming but not just yet

@ferenczinho have you tried going onto the ps5 version of the game and going onto load game and seeing if the save is there? Also in settings under ps5 game saves the bottom one is to turn on auto sync i think, make sure thats on. I didnt have any issues so trying to remember what i did lol but i got my ps5 on launch day

@pickyimp12 theres 4 in total i wasnt able to get, that 1 and 3 in snotinghamscire. They know about it but havent fixed it yet. Probably cant figure out how without breaking the game even more tbh

They are not fun, they are stressfull and annoying. The one in eurvicscire is the last one i need and it drives me nuts, wasted hours trying to get it done and keep failing, i hate it and it starts to make me hate the game as a whole.

@LLightbringer i had to watch a youtube video to do that one, its annoying as hell but it is doable with a little skill and a lot of luck
