no. I've given up on responding to Ubi. After this last TU which "fixed" the Scott Mitchell shirt for the belt, didn't even get listed as an update item and after all the requests that they leave the freakin belt off... why would I bother answering anything from them?

Meanwhile today I decided to follow the helo that takes the folks you free from the prison in the first missions to rescue Ito. The helo goes to the same base you take Ito and lands on top of the helo already on that landing pad with predictable results. Fortunately, you don't fail the mission because of it.

Another day of these nimwits tossing a grenade at the objective I am supposed to secure. It says a lot when I have to turn OFF the teammates in order to accomplish my missions. Excellent job on the AI there. really. I mean you guys clearly worked so hard to get this right and tested it repeatedly playing your own game to make sure it actually functions. Your devotion and attention to detail really shows. You clearly didn't just phone it in with minimal effort just to say you listened and responded to your community.

Kudos, you should take great pride in your accomplishment for such groundbreaking work.

This is essentially their response right now on the connection/slot 1 deletion issue. It is definitely helping me in my decision process as to whether I'll ever buy another Ubi game. a 3 1/2 year old game that deletes my progress isn't going to be fixed. Okay then...."closes wallet".

Also, because we stopped post launch support on Ghost Recon Breakpoint and have no further updates planned for this title at this time, we can't guarantee that this issue will be fixed in the future, sorry for this inconvenience, but I'll report this to the game team.

@ENMA-channel they aren't even bothering to post anything on announcement page to warn folks. They don't seem to care. Any patch they do wouldn't be on our machines, it would have to be in how they maintain data on their servers. What they should do is have an archive of backups to allow a restoration of our saves. But that seems way too obvious to implement.
What I'd really like to know and realize I will never be told is what is causing this. We can ask but... *crickets*

@xAisay heh yeah I've had that happen in different situations where my character is stuck immersed partially in a rock scrabbling to get out. Because of their "activity" they can't fast travel to get out. Only option was to log out and start over. Forget asking for a fix though, the game is no longer supported.

best thing they can do if they are not going to support it is to get rid of the only online requirement. They clearly can't support it well anyway.
