A cool feature for Valhalla would be the ability to wear shields on your back while dual wielding two weapons or two-handing a large weapon. Maybe it could even protect you from attacks and/or arrows from behind. Even if it were just cosmetic it would be very neat feature to have. From the business side of things, I believe it could help Ubisoft make more money as it would give further incentive to buy helix items, people who typically dual-wield or use 2h weapons might buy a helix shield if they could wear it on their back. If I'm not mistaken it would also be historically accurate, because I believe Anglo-Saxons would sometimes wear a kite shield on their back while wielding a dane axe, and I don't see why a Viking like Eivor couldn't do the same thing. I just think it would be an awesome feature which would add some more flavor to the game, and make everyone happy.
Here is promotional art for Valhalla showing off Eivor dual-wielding axes with a shield on his back.
Here are some screenshots I took by using a little feature/bug in the game where Eivor will two-hand a weapon for a little while with a shield on his back after doing an air-attack while using a 2h weapon with a shield.
@ubi-keo I found another issue which is similar to this. Varin (Eivor's Father) is at Heillboer in Norway for some reason as well, even though he is supposed to be dead as he dies at the beginning of the game.

In my game, my Eivor does not wear any tattoos, but if I go to Vinland he is covered in tattoos. Some interesting details about this bug are that the tattoos that get put on Eivor are tattoos that I have used in the past, if I return to England I have to go the the tattoo shop to remove them, and if I return to Vinland after removing them they get put on Eivor again. The bug happens regardless if I go to Vinland through the lady at the settlement, or if I go through the atlas. I am on the latest version of the game.
Here is a clip of me in England without tattoos and then going to Vinland, and suddenly Eivor is covered in tattoos.
The horn that Eivor uses to start a raid or call their ship is bugged when you blow it when crouched. It sounds like the sound is playing twice at the same time. The demonstration video linked below shows the bug when just blowing the horn randomly using the "use horn" option on the action wheel, but the bug still happens when crouched and calling the ship to pick you up or if start a raid while crouched. I also demonstrate how it sounds normally when standing in the video.
As the title states, the auto-assign skill point mechanic does not seem to work with the post-launch skills. The base game's 399 skills get auto-assigned properly, but the 30 skills that have been added through updates do not. This isn't that big of a glitch, but it is something that should be fixed as more skills are going to be added and filling in individual skills can be quite tedious, especially given that Valhalla is going to be supported throughout next year and will likely get many more skills.
Here's a clip of the bug.
@ubi-keo Hi, I am not the original poster, but I have this bug as well and I didn't want to start a whole new thread. The bug is caused by having the "Intense Rage" skill, and then doing the special attack with your off-hand weapon if you are dual wielding or the special attack of a two-handed weapon. By special attack, I mean the one that Eivor does if you hold the parry button. It works with every special attack except the shields as they just block when you do the special attack. The bug originated when the skill was released, which was the April update, 1.2.1. It is still in the game as of the previous patch, 1.2.2.
@ubi-borealis I've had the missing pets bug for a while, but the recent patch finally made the fox show up at my settlement. I'm still missing the wolf at my settlement. I've found him, but he's outside of Ravensthorpe laying down in the woods, and every once in a while he gets up and walks around for a little bit and then just lays down again. I can't make him go back to the settlement. I know its the wolf, because Eivor greeted it.

@ubi-smash I've found 2 other bugs relating to the side braid. First, When Eivor stops moving, and they stop specifically on the right foot then the side braid phases into Eivor's neck and then pops out. Second, whenever Eivor Turns his head to the right, the side braid clips into his neck until they turn their head back.
Bug 1: Here's the clip showing how the braid clips into Eivor's neck for a little bit and then pops out. I showed the bug with several different torsos, and shirtless. The clip also shows that the bug only happens when stopping on Eivor's right foot for whatever reason.
The hood and cape of the Werewolf Hood are made of different materials even though it is supposed to be a singular cloak. The hood seems to be made of a fabric (if you zoom in, you can see the weaving, and it is not shiny like the cape), whereas the cape seems to be made of leather (kind of like a leather jacket, look at the smoothness and shine).
Screenshot so you can see what I mean.
There is still quite a bit clipping with the Magister Torso, it seems to be happening around the armpit and shoulder areas. Are the devs still working on this issue?
spoiler
Screenshot of Magister Cloak, focus on the where the cloak is held together by the brooch.
Screenshot of the Magister Cloak along with the Magister Torso. Look at the part of the cloak where it is held together with the brooch, it clips into the Magister Torso's chainmail.
For some reason cloaks are shrunk down when using the Rus Torso on a Jomsviking which causes the cloak to clip into the armor. It happens with every cloak, and the clipping starts once you equip the Rus Torso onto a Jomsviking.
Here's a video showing the bug. I used some of the smaller/thinner cloaks so that it would be easier to see what I mean, but all of the cloaks are shrunk down and have some clipping with the Rus Torso.
@bielik01 Reda's dailies are affected by scaling, it's just that sometimes you need to disable scaling to get your second daily (which is another bug).
I also wish the game modes included scaling. It would make the River Raids more challenging.
@bielik01 The Royal Demands are repeatable quests, they are not a game mode. The game modes send you to other areas like the different rivers in the River Raids or a modified version of the England map in the Mastery Challenges.
The Level Scaling feature added in the most recent update does not seem to work with the Royal Demand missions from Wrath of The Druids. The issue is not tied to a particular enemy base, as I've been consistently seeing this issue pop up while doing Royal Demands in different locations throughout Ireland.
Screenshot of me doing a royal demand, I locked onto an enemy to show how the enemy is under-leveled and not scaling.
Screenshot of my combat settings showing that my scaling is set to Nightmarish. If the scaling were working properly, then the enemy in the previous screenshot would have have a red skull rather than a green dot next to their health bar.
@ubi-keo Yes, the leaves are still there if I leave and come back.

@ubi-wheelyduck it's just visual. The Heavy Shield works as it should: it blocks attacks and you can't move while blocking. It's just that the animation where Eivor plants it into the ground does not happen with the Short Swords, Sickles, and possibly also with the Scythes that are coming with Siege of Paris.
