@dumpstercat I think its more the quality of the song selection at launch that is the issue. sure theres more songs but hardly any well known ones that people will want to learn. It's not like they haven't had the past experience of the other two rocksmiths to see what the user bases tastes are... I will give rocksmith+ a fair shake and sub for a month at least but from what I've browsed of the song selection its pretty poor and I'm going to struggle to find ones that I like and half of them dont have bass versions so I will be forced to stick to guitar.
@mtophat I'm in the same boat and that's not even taking into account any of the missing features like session mode, guitarcade and non stop play (although I shudder to think at the absolute trash it would suggest for me in non stop play) The only positive point I have found with the game is I can play on my acoustic and use my phone to be a mic, oh and there are a couple of good clash songs that are noteracked... Both of which they could have updated the old game with. I kinda wish I hadn't paid for three month sub and spent the money on getting as many song for RS2014 whilst they are still availiable.
Just posted this in another thread but feel it is appropriate here:
So I cancelled my subscription last night after the rather pitiful drop of new songs, the awful UI, the lack of features that were well established in 2014 and just the whole ubisoftness of it all. They really are experts at screwing up easy wins, I have no doubt that this is their doing and not the deveopers themselves. I had paid for three months so I have another month and a bit left of my current subscription but they will have a hard time turning this trainwreck around and getting me back on board. I actually went and bought £30 worth of DLC for 2014 immediately after (I want to support the devs as previously to rs+ they were near the top spot for my favourite dev team) and am enjoying being back on that platform a whole lot better... They will say they dropped features from RS+ because the most play time was on learning songs but of course it will... the other features were the parts you played between learning or playing songs as a little bit of a change and they were really powerful features the session mode was amazing, the abilty to have a little jam is quintessential to the musicians journey! otherwise we are all just going to turn into wedding band players...
slow clap for ubisoft...
@dataway Exactly this, I honestly can't believe how much they [censored] the bed with rocksmith+
I too am having issues with blurry textures. I have a 2080 super I have tried with both HD textures enabled and disabled and I am running at 4k. I have had some joy by rolling the graphics card driver back a version and disabling all Ray Tracing options, however it is not 100% fixed but it is a lot better. This is of course not the way I would like to experience the game as my performance is great with th Ray Tracing options on and I would like to play it like that if possible but the blurry textures are really killling the experience.
It's a real shame because apart from the textures I am very impressed with the performance of the game but the awful textures hurt the experience so much...

@croowen No worries, this forum format is confusing to say the least.
@croowen I was replying to the guy who said "And? Do you think ubisoft cares about it?" on my initial comment not your comments.
@zenplayer8 I mean in the grand scheme of things no. It's ubisoft after all, but if enough players complain about it they will have to do something... Your comment is really not adding anything to the conversation.
