I've been playing Assassin's Creed since Ezir's Trilogy without a single one missed. Think this is the first time that the game is adopting toggled sprint system. As an old player there's no way you could imagine the misery brought by such change. For instance, during a severe battle you try to climb the ladder near you to find a better tatical location to reassign the combat rhythm, then you find yourself on the ladder climbing slower than a snail with enemies on the ground harassing you with daggers. Or, you try to dodge a lancer's sweep with ALT, however, you were sprinting before entering the battle so that little decent step became a long distance roll, you got up off the ground and then saw youself caught on fire because of that roll. So far I have two suggestions, one is to remain the traditional HOLDING sprint system: it's classic and let you performe more detailed manipulations. The other one is from Odyssey, which is no sprint system at all, you are always moving with full speed, with only walk buttons, much easier.
@soberstone999 Thanks for letting me know, hope we could see that update in near future!
