Tried repeatedly (at least 20-30 attempts) throwing the pyro canister into and onto the burning cart w/o triggering a response (beyond the norseman committing suicide upon giving up and leaving). I'm very under-levelled for the area (character power level around 35 vs area power level 250), could it be that the cart has hit points and the damage caused by the incendiary based on level?
@ubi-borealis Still bugged for me on PC. Subdued Tedmund with fists, tied him up and rode to meeting point. Killed some animals while there (and some enemy soldiers in village). Placed Tedmund on correct ground area, but nothing triggered. Solved it by hitting T. with fists while tied up in the correct place which triggered Cynebert and posse to arrive.
Hi again. It's working, I'm pretty sure I kept on confusing the horn action for raids and for calling longship. Probably would have been a better design to make the horn work for both to avoid confusion. But completely my bad and I apologize for wasting your time (but I'm impressed by custom service's eagerness to assist). Thanks!
@ubi-theberry
Sorry for late reply. This is on PC. It affects both Norway and England. Bug is very consistent with few or no exceptions.
Still very much a bug in Norway. Seldom, if ever, manage to summon a longship with the horn. Tried both directly and through the menu.
This yet another BUG in a game released without polish.
If you have set assassinate to space (same as non-configurable pickpocket/steal), then holding space will result in immediate assassination instead of stealing as you should by default.
@wongzilla13 Had to meditate 3 times for it to work here.
Sorry, but these kinds of comments makes me laugh. RPG is *NOT* about collecting huge amounts of loot constantly. That is a cheap MMO trick, or clicky Diablo clones to make up for being light on actual roleplaying throughout. I HATE that so many so-called roleplaying games forces you to play the role of a compulsive pack-mule scavenger. Looting defeated enemies is good, but not generally for their armor and weapons, stripping everything bare to accumulate wealth in order to afford overpriced and overpowered gear at your next trader. Rinse and repeat ad nauseam. Gathering resources like in Valhalla is an elegant solution to this issue and it fits well with the narrative of the story. Valhalla is an unpolished gem released a month too early, but your issues are matters of personal taste that are shallow anti-roleplaying MMORPG tropes rather that flaws.
Same issue here. Last room so reloaded previous save to do raid again...and still the crew refuses to enter the room or help. Resolved itself as mentioned above with leaving room and returning after looting elsewhere.
@spevf Do you play in offline mode? Opals apparently require online mode to exist in the game. Also try logging out/in and see if that helps. My issues are solved having done both.
