@sendjes This entire Ubisoft connect transition is the reason for this debacle. It's basically a downgrade for Uplay.

@captainstarpaw Good luck getting Ubisoft's attention on this. Have you seen their known issues thread? They will never acknowledge these kind of stuff and this stay like this forever. Ubisoft are notorious for not fixing anything in weeks or months.

@lockmort IKR! I just wished we stayed with Uplay for PC users. Uplay was fine as it is. I had no complaints with it and after the transition, everything is worse.

@swanronson33 My connect doesn't even look like this. There is no hours played either. It just looks like a 3rd class [censored] launcher.

@ubi-swaggins Can we get an update that the team is actually aware of this bug? I am not able to finish this quest. Your known issues list post is very small compared to the amount of bugs, glitches, crashes and freezes people are experiencing.

@ubi-woofer Achievements still doesn't pop up when you unlock them. It's been a year now.

@jackov15 It does not track because they removed the achievement tracking API from Ubisoft connect. Sure achievements are there in the client but you cannot view them on 3rd party sites nor it pops up in game. It's there just for the sake of it.

@jackov15 I have the standard edition. Problem is achievements are unlocking BUT they are not popping up in game, making me to open the client to check everytime. This experience completely ruined achievements for me.

@skylinee87 Reinstalling OS from scratch fixed it for me.

So I got a brand new 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD and I have decided to reinstall Win 10 from scratch, all data erased as well and reinstalled Valhalla, so a fresh start.

Since then, I have been playing for a week without a single crash. I have clocked in over 25 hours in this 1 week. And I am able to play the game by fully OC'ing my 1060 6GB. I don't know what happened but the crashes are fixed for me for the time being. I am on latest drivers.

@ubi-woofer Any news on achievements popup still not working in game?

@longjohn119 One thing I'd like to point out that they changed the way volumetric clouds are rasterized. Unlike Odyssey, in which it was an FPS killer, in Valhalla there is only 1 FPS difference between each setting. See Hardware Unboxed video for this.

The biggest FPS hit in this game is DOF.

@chuckkatse Geforce Experience is bloatware trash. I stay out of it and I'd suggest you do the same.
