I've completed the quest, must have gotten separated from my contact, and when I leave the area, it doesn't complete the 'Escape Walden' quest. I can't find my point of contact. I run all around. I fast travel.

Am I doing something wrong?

So WAS loving this game. Loving it. Until I came across Redwalda. I'm a good few dozen hours in, pretty leveled and geared up. I fight well.

But Redwalda doesn't care. Let's just forget about the fact that the tactics he employs are highly AI favored. He does things constantly that shouldn't work and gets away with it. And we'll ignore the fact that when I do my charge jump attack on him with my two handed axe FROM BEHIND, my character likes to spin around mid flight animation and wack him in his huge metal shield instead.

Yes, ignore both of those gripes.

My gripe is...when I'm winning (and I often am going to win), Redwalda will miraculously regain ALL of his health and armor. EVERY time. I've yet to be able to beat him, which is why I paused the game after an hour and posted here. He's just broken. The AI or trolling programmer made him impossible to beat.

I guess I'll move on and play the rest of this game...but I'll never get that bug out of my mind. Spoiled it for me a bit.

UPDATE

I went back several quick saves later, approached the walls of the town, and the dude popped back up next to me. I left the area, and the quest continued on.

By the way, another side note. Just before this, I was on a quick save that had me falling through the floor over and over. I had to go back three quick saves to not fall through the world. Good news is, it helped me finally do this quest.
