@peterlaub The canned responses, same responses coming days later from different staff, seemingly lack of knowledge of this gigantic thread with ticket numbers and correspondence and support chat and other methods of support being unattainable for many is disheartening. What a [censored] show.
Your GPU utilization is is in the 90's% when playing in the hay with 70 FPS yet tanks to 60% utilization and 35 FPS when in town. It would be nice to get some acknowledgment of the problem instead of being told, erm, turn off background applications.
Why has this problem, with over 300 posts, not been added to the technical problems section of the master thread? This problem has been apparent since the 1.1.0 update was released. A resolution should be easily traceable.

"Gaming for 40 years, countless bugged game launches" and you come up with No Man's Sky, Ark and AC: Unity? One AAA developer, the same developer in this thread, in this forum. You need a better case for your argument.
Here are benchmark and gameplay screenshots from a moment ago of patch 1.1.0 with AMD CPU and GPU since it appears many of the problems appear to be with older Intel CPUs; my benchmark and gameplay seemed to run well.
Specs are 2700X (8C/16T), 5700XT, 16GB3200C14, 1080p, VSync, 60 FPS limit (60Hz TV), High-Very High graphics settings except Low AA, Borderless Window, PS4 Controller with USB cable, controller only setting selected in menu, high performance power plan, W1020H2, latest Radeon driver 20.12.1, played with Ubi+ so online mode.
GPU usage was 99% most of benchmark, sometimes dipped to 95%, CPU usage was 35% to 55%. During gameplay GPU usage is closer to 80% since frame capped at 60 FPS and CPU is around 22%. I only played for 15 minutes. I ran the benchmark 3X, these are the 3rd run and matched the 1st. The 2nd froze the game and sent a crash report to Ubi at the immediate start of the run. Moving Eivor around while loading each benchmark was buttery smooth and usually means I'll get minimal stuttering in game which was the case here. I've been playing Immortals Fenix Rising the past few days instead of ACV and it has only crashed 1X so far, has some shadow flickering issues, but otherwise runs smooth and is extremely fun.
When is Freezing / Crashing of this game, occurring on ALL systems, going to be added to the Problems Mega Thread? It appears that Ubisoft does not see this as a game problem.
@luksonowsky
Does not work.
@CptBorschtsch
Does not work.
The music seems to kick on or off at odd times, like there's a DJ in my PC and is too busy on social media on his phone instead of controlling my music. It is something I've never really kept attention to in games but it is clear as day in this game.
@ubi-baron
Why no official response from Ubisoft stating that PS4 controller native supports on PC exists? How do you not know on Nov 8?
Yes, the PS4 controller is natively supported for ACV on PC as I purchased the game and have confirmed it works.
@sulejmanus "You know there is some special name in psychology for what you are doing along with some other people..."
Your initial statement above was the start of any insult in this thread and is far more demeaning than any later derogatory insult posted. Maybe it's due to language barrier, but it is most definitely the most insulting.
@ubi-baron
What does it take to get a response from Ubisoft regarding crashing? I have created my own thread, no response, added to existing threads, no response. Does one need to post at the right time when Ubi support happen to be logged into the forum for a few minutes each day?
There is still no acknowledgment of freezing and crashing on multiple system types, mainly PC, in the Mega Bug Thread post. Repeating sections of the game because of crashes especially when in an unsavable location is getting old and something I've never experienced with such frequency with years of gaming.
@frigidlycold Strange, support have stated in posts that console controllers aren't supported on PC, yet they release articles about all these accessibility options for Valhalla. Is it supposed to be played with telepathy?

@dreadgrrl You get it. I'm a fisher too, mainly kayak and ice, go 2x a week or more year round. This is the worst fishing experience I've ever played in a game. Sega Genesis / Mega Drive had better fishing games in the 90's.
The fishing in this game feels like it was added with cooperation of game controller, mouse and keyboard manufacturers to mash those buttons until new hardware is needed. The only saving grace are the fish models that Eivor holds as they look quite decent compared to the real thing.
@asgardian02 I was replying to the OP, but you should choose your question wording more carefully before replying with "duh".
@leoraptor1979 Achievements have been around for ages in games. They exist as Achievements on PC (steam) and XBOX platforms and as Trophies on Playstation platforms. They existed before Challenges of Uplay / Ubisoft Connect and the achievements now being brought to PC already existed for this game on both console platforms.
@zarael1721 Should respond with "I will be requesting a charge back from my financial institution since you will not offer a refund for your going on 2 months broken game if you do not respond with a fix within 4 days"
@kormac67 Do you have anything related to this thread, ACV, and requiring the use of Twitter only for the latest updates to a game in need of patches?

@asgardian02 There are skills for adding adrenaline points.
@quor321 AC games should only need an internet connection to download patches or to connect to the store, which is really unnecessary in game. Even a simple connection at launch to update the daily items available through Reda is at most what is necessary. Achievements / trophies should all be accessible offline. An active internet connection for such games is a hinderance to game performance if not executed correctly.
