Hahahaha, guess what. 1.04 installed, did not fix the bug. F YOU Ubisoft. Worst release ever, 2 weeks later and still stuck. I dont understand this how you screw your fans.
I am curious, did anybody have his issue fixed? What did it actually did?? I still see the same bugs / issues.
I am still stuck on sons of ragnar, for 15 days now.
Like many others, I encountered problems with the 'Sons of Ragnar' quest.
I cannot progress with the story since Ubba refuses to talk to me...

Nothing worked. And it seems like it doesnt work for a lot of players...
I am so saddened because this is gamebreaking. I refuse to start over & I am thinking about quitting...
@ubi-woofer really sorry man but this answer has been given 8 days ago. The issue is now 2 weeks open (issued on nov. 11). This is just too long... i stopped playing and asked for refund. For an AAA title with such a big team behind it, you are asking for way too much patience without communication.
Reproducing is not hard. If you read, the People who have this issue started the quest and went treasure hunting. The people who do not have the issue immediately go forward with the mission. Thats it... so the dev team can start the mission, go treasure hunting, come back and have the bug.
Anyway. It will be silent now for another 10 days so I am out of here! Thank you.
@fernatius same. i did everything except reinstalling. I have 80+ hours in and I refuse to start over. If this does not get fixed I am done. Also, first it has to be acknowledged since it is not even been added to the 'known issues'. It feels like they are just ignoring us...
The funny thing is... this is the biggest topic here with over 600 replies... so it IS a big issue and not even acknowledged. Like... ehhhh
@fernatius I am not 'just' complaining. I have given them all information I have... I have send them my save file which is not that easy on PS4. So I put a lot of effort in it. I posted here, contacted on Twitter, contacted on Discord, contacted on their Customer Support. Everything...
It is not about the bug anymore, it is mainly their lack of communication. I work as a manager customer service, i have 250 people working for me. This would NEVER happen in my team. Rule #1, always communicate, no matter what kind of message.
If you look at the topics opened on this "wow forum", this is the biggest unresolved issue. And you think it is oké for them to be quiet?
No. I paid 100 euro (!) for this game and have been waiting for 20 days now, while all my friends are finishing the game. Pretty cool, right?
I am not even mad. I am dissapointed. And I strongly believe that I will be banned now, sure.
@jsp14 yeah, well maybe start over in a year or so. But for now, it goes back in the box. I have no idea what I am doing anymore after spending 80+ hours on treasures, artifacts, mysteries, jotunheim / asgard etc. I feels like I finished the game, while I am stuck in the beginning.
Happy 3 week anniversary everybody! 21 waiting days have passed. This milestone will forever stay in my heart.
Please... can you please... after 1 year of knowing this issue and keep saying: "looking into it" just be honost with us... is this going to be fixed? Yes or no? It is not that hard, but the same excuses after so much time...come on.
Off course, another issue with Ubisoft. Trying to play on PS5 with friends, all get the 6x0000007 error something. Is anybody surprised it is Ubisoft?
Never have I been more dissapointed... This company should go out of business and this worthless "customer service" as well.

This company cannot be taken seriously anymore. It is a big joke. They ignore us, fix nothing and seen the updates they have had 3498347593578234059237523 bugs when released, crap game.
