Dear Ubisoft

After the update to 1.1.0, my FPS has gone down from about 60 FPS til 35 FPS. I notice that the CPU, and the GPU utilization in the benchmark has dropped drastilcally, and that may where the problem lies.
Is anybody else encountering the same problem?

SPECS:
i5 6400
GTX 1060 6 GB
16 GB ddr4 ram
Nvidia driver 460.79
Windows 10 64 BIT

I am getting Tired!

I triede Clean boot.
I triede going Offline,
I Triede Reinstalling the game twice.
All graphic setting. And so on, and so on.........

I also keep spamming Ubisoft customer service with my Ticket, and MSinfo and Dxdiag.

I will soon resolve to Poetry again!!!

I once bought a game, where you play as a viking,
At first it seemed cool, you could even do flyting.
 
Then came the update, that kinda broke the game,
the frames went down, come on! thats lame!

So dear Ubisoft please get it together,
we know in our hearts that this game could get better!

I made a comment on Jorraptors newest YT video about Valhalla update 1.1.1, just to see if any other where experiencing the constant FPS frop.

Within 5 minuts, some bloke wrote: "Hey mann, what are you talking about, they fixede the problem on Xbox. The problem is you mann,"

What the heck man? way to be passive aggressive dude.

Just made me delete my comment, and come here, where I know that I'am unfortunately not the only one with Vallhalla playing bad!

We where waiting and waiting, for nothing at all,
the hopes where high, yet the failure was tall.

The biggest conundrum though, of them all,
will we ever meet, in the viking filled hall?.

The answer is NO, the chance is spoiled!
I thought this game was ready, polished, and oiled!

But yet again, the food was spoiled.
And even worse, the ground was soiled.

The last and only thing left to do,
Is let it be up, to the rest, of you..


Come on Ubisoft! dont make me bring back the bad poetry.

Well, I guess there wont be a hotfix, or and update till next year.
I think everybody at Ubisoft are having holidays.

There is nothing else we can do, besides keep spreading the "bad news" that the game is kind a broken.
The more people who replies to this tread, the merrier!

However dont let this ruin your Holidays..
Spend some time with loved ones, and go play something else, something that is not broken

Here we are.

Almost 5 months from when I first postede this thread. And what has happend? A lot, just not a lot good for this game.
Perhapse I made the mistake of only asking, if any other players had experienced the FPS drop, that I encountered. And not officially asking Ubisoft to help us..
Ohh boy, almost 1000 answers, almost 30000 views.. I think i'm not the only one with this stupid problem!

So Dear Ubisoft, get your (censored) together and fix this bloddy FPS problem. I havent got all my life!

Its getting toe crunchingly bad, the way you are handling this.. Or should I say the way, that you are NOT handling this...

Maybe you should update the thread to the following:
After TU 1.1.1 I still get CONSTANT FPS drop / low CPU / GPU utilization. It has't helped a [censored]!

Oh, BTW, the game crashes now!!.
I'm gonna try to verify the game, and come back and report if that did anything.

IF YOU MADE A TICKET, AND THE PROBLEM ISN'T FIXED, MAKE SURE YOU LET THEM KNOW!!!!!!

Hi Ubisoft.

The problem has not been fixed since the lastest TU to 1.1.1.
I, and many other are still experecing Constant FPS drop, due to low CPU and GPU utilization.

I am sorry to hear that the issue persists for you, after the latest patch.
We can confirm that the patch should have fixed this.
Please ensure that you are on the latest update.
We have also checked your system files, and it appears that your CPU is slightly below the minimum requirements, when it comes to the Ghz performance.
With this in mind, it is possible for you to experience some FPS issues, depending on the settings that you have selected.
If the FPS drops are too large, please contact us back with a screenshot of your in-game graphics settings, as well as a video of the issue.
In the meantime, should you require further assistance, we remain at your disposal.

Thank you for replying.

I totaly agree, that a CPU below the requiriments could result in
low FPS, That does not change the fact that on my custom setting, on
TU 1.0.4 I was getting 55-60 FPS i Ravensthrope ( now is more like 35-40 FPS)
I do not have any video of gamplay in Valhalla 1.0.4 you'll just have to take my word for it!

If you take a gaze upon this thread, you would also see, that a lot a people with better CPUs are also affected by the problem.

I made you guys alot of videos, from Low settings, all the way up to Ultra settings.
Also one with my custom settings. ( the one I used to play with, and could get 50+ FPS in towns)
( On low settings, the FPS seems to be equivalent to my Custom settings FPS wise)

Low settings    (not public):
Medium settings (not public):

High Settings   (not Public):
Very High Settings (not Public):
Ultra Settings: (not Public):
Custom Settings: (not Public):

the common denominator would seem to be the Low CPU utilization ( and also the low GPU). Even when you put in on low, the CPU dosn't get utilized proberly.

As you can se in the videos, I can get a pretty solid FPS outside any town, but as soon as I enter a city ( in these videos its only Ravensthrope, but it dosent matter wheter is Lundun or some other town)
I get a FPS drop.
Of Course it would be expectede due to the fact, that there are more objectes, more AI to load, and so on,
But let me please remind you, that on Valhalla 1.0.4 this problem did not occur! or at least the FPS wasn't so drastic.

Hi again again.

Just to clarify, the only background application i have got running is UPlay, and Msi overclocking ( to show you guys the numbers)

What do you mean with, your updated system files?
I've already provided my DXdiag, and MSinfo? did they change since last time? the only thing that changede was your update to the game

Oh, I just wastede 2 hours downloading Valhalla, just to delete it againg.. I dont know why i triede... I still runs at 30 FPS.

@Voidolt I just need to understant it correctly, you have not installed 3 party files, but only "updated" windos, and now valhalla is running as before?
