@ubi-keo thank you for the information. Could you please tell us about the feedback / update from the dev team regarding this?
Thanks in advance and best regards.
Hey guys,
since you made it possible to use mouse and keyboard on the game on consoles, it would be great to give gamepad users some UX optimizations from this input method.
One would be the option to close a dialog.
When playing with mouse and keyboard you can use the number keys to get to the option in a dialog, while if playing with a gamepad, you have to navigate to the answer directly. A hotkey to close and leave would be useful, e.g. the "circle" and "B" button on consoles.
Thanks and best regards
Hey guys,
since the release of the game this accessibility feature on Series X has been bugged.
When I plug in my mouse and keyboard, only the device, that has been plugged in first, works.
Are there any plans or an ETA date when this is gonna be fixed?
My devices can't be the problem. On CoD and other games, that support MnK on XBox, they work perfectly. I also had my friend tested this, since he is using other hardware. He suffers the same issues there.
One side note, if you wanna use synergy effects on the investigation: Immortals Fenyx Rising shares the same issue. Only one device can be used at the same time. Coulda be engine related, since both games use the same technology.
Thanks in advance and best regards.
Hey guys,
since this is a shooter, made in year >2010, it woulda be nice if you could leave the CoD roots behind and give us individual sensitivity controller in the options when using gamepads.
For the right stick I was only able to increase the value of 100% by 35%, 75%, 130% ...but this was either too fast or too slow. I guess I am not the only player out there who asks for more precise input in a SHOOTER.
There is an additional multiplier though, but this doesn't help me to reach my goal, since it is bound to INTEGER values.
So my kind request to solve this issue would be: Please remove this fixed-value solution and give us a controller based on 1% increments, like we can see for mouse input devices.
Another useful thing for any input devices would be a multiplier for Y-axis movement. It is missing completely and can affect accessibility of many users out there, me including.
Thanks in advance and best regards.
Hey guys,
since I also like to immortalize gaming moments in digital form, I love to use photo modes in video games. FC6 got us covered here as well, but unfortunately it is really not great to use.
Changing the FoV, rotating the cam ...elementary and frequently used photography functions are bound to submenues instead of actual buttons.
So in this regard, I would kindly ask you to stick to state-of-the-art concepts for camera controls, that we can find in most other games.
The optimum woulda be giving us a respective tab covering this button mappings in the options, so users can individually chose their buttons.
If it is not possible to give us custom button mappings, please copy the control schemas of other games, that do it better.
I mean, it is great to change the cam height by using 2/4 of the shoulder buttons. But it would be more usable to use the other 2 for the cam rotation.
Just take a look at how FORZA HORIZON 5 is doing it OR NVIDIA ANSEL. Both work great with gamepads, AS SAME AS with mouse and keyboard.
I mean, just a suggestion to interact with the submenu: The button which is used ingame to open the map etc., it is bound to nothing. So bind it to the submenu when pressed and let us apply the settings, that aren't frequently used there e.g. filters, depth of field...
I hope you will implement my requested features or improve the mode, because it is a shame that it is that inefficient to capture the beautifully crafted world you gave us with this game.
Thanks in advance and best regards.
Hello guys,
since it is a free to play weekend I finally got the chance to test the game myself. Overall the game feels super fluent to play. But some things that bother me are the missing features on mouse and keyboard, you have implemented for gamepads on Windows and XBox.
For gamepads we can apply the use of HOLD or PUSH a button to trigger a function. This is super amazing, since we're limited to buttons on those input devices. But is this feature missing for keyboard and mouse? We already have this option in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, so why not bringing a consistent look and feel to your games on the usability side?! This would the game also more accessible to other players, who cannot manage that many buttons, that are unnecessary mapped.
While talking about consistency and missing content: Double-Tap is something, that is missing globally as well. This was feature that worked in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. And was superbly implemented in The Division 2 to swap between main guns (PUSH), secondary weapon(2x tap) and your signature weapon (HOLD). That's how efficient use of buttons may look like!
It would be nice to see this features also in this game coming to PC and consoles!
Thanks in advance and best regards.
@ubi-keo thank you very much for the information. The team has just fixed it with the latest patch
