I was looking forward to the game more then CyberPunk yet I had to refund it.
Before adding new features, please fix the game, update some features and locations to feel more dangerous. Raiding a place were half the NPC's do not even know you arrived is just ....
Raiding should trigger an alarm.
Valhalla can be amazing game but if this is Ubisofts answer to CyberPunk ... well no thx then.
@ongeburz To add:
While it might be a long list of things I dislike, I am not saying it is the worst game ever. It's just that with Origin and Odyssey you set a certain standard ... which for me doesn't reflect in this game
@dbgager you are either very lucky or (no offense) you do not own the game. In every thread you mention that there are no issues.
There is a point where you have to admit that this game is a buggy mess vs the 2 previous entries. For people that have issues you replies come over as "not very believable" because many of us are very disappointed. (not your fault of course hihi)
Again if you have no issues be happy, I hope you enjoy it.
Nope + since there is little to no loot/skins it would make no sense.
@thegrimreeferzz While I think the game has many flaws I do think Ubisoft did a good job concept wise.
What kills it for me is the terrible AI and the bugs (so so many bugs)
@geoage095 I would guess mid-december when we get the first content update .. by then a lot of players will be burned out by all the bugs/AI issues and etc.
I personally cannot understand why Ubisoft refuses give a statement or update. The Issue tracker on the forums has 5% of all the issues mentioned.
Then again we get almost daily posts on twitter, youtube, etc. with screenshots and advertising.
@seby_urmel I love the theme, it was the reason I was extremely hyped for the game!
But yes enough is enough

@Ubi-Woofer For the megethread on bugs and issues.
@thegrimreeferzz sorry for getting back to you on this hihi but have you ever played the game Viking, created by creative Assembly? It is "old" but still can be good fun if you can get it for a few EUR/Dollars
@thegrimreeferzz you are right and I understand you. The expectations Ubisoft set is not what was delivered. So yes I understand your frustration and honestly hope we get another game in this time period/setting as there is so much more to be done with it!
@valtyrnine +1 No more store items until this game is fixed; we need bug fixes, better AI, and for sake of everyone who bought the game ... a response from Ubisoft.
Their attitude to just not communicating with their player/customer base is terrible.
Raids/sieges were added in this game and they got me thinking ... did Ubisoft miss out on a opportunity?
Having multiplayer battles 50 vs 50 for example having to defend castles or defending against incoming raiders could have been fun.
It could have been a fun take on the mount & blade multiplayer sieges. Just letting us play as a random viking / english soldier would have been perfect.
I do believe this mode would have been popular, it is easy to create as all assets are already created and would have been a fun way to increase player engagement.
Looking at the financials, they could have sold skins, battlepasses even, etc.
curious about everyone else their opinion on this subject.

@dbgager I play on Xbox One X,
Ps: play more and post less hihi

@preferrend69 I also noticed that, it is not constantly but happens often. I first thought it was because of my tv, but other games at 4k have no issues at all.
That Ubisoft is not responding to the many bug reports is worrying to be honest.
From visuals to AI and even many missions being bugged the game is not off for a good start.
The known issue list is ridiculous it reflects maybe 2% of the issues and problems
Funny enough it actually made me want to play odyssey again, if they fix this game I will buy it again. For now I am happy Xbox gave a refund after playing it for 20+ hours.
