This is still broken. This is the last trophy I need and it's completely glitched. I'm done with EVERYTHING in the game aside from this last member of the order. Hytham is still sitting in the bureau asking for medallions even though I already turned in enough to get Thor's Cloak. Apparently that is where the game is glitched. You're only supposed to get the cloak after all, including the father, are dead. But it lets you do the last turn in for the cloak before the father is dead. Now Hytham never sends me a letter or moves to the longhouse area with the fellow soldier quest to kill the father. They need to fix this platinum breaking glitch. I'm sick of paying $60 to beta test Ubisoft games. Definitely won't bother with immortals fenyx rising or far cry 6 if this doesn't get fixed.
This is a common issue I have experienced and read about on other forums and Youtube videos. I've tried all sorts of "fixes" that do not help at all. Sometimes when I first fast travel in or load back into the animus, I'll immediately ping insight and see fish. But once I move a couple feet or just select fishing line and ping again, all fish disappear. Because of this, I can not get the fishing trophy. I've tried the animus loading, fast traveling to Norway, Vinland, and back to England. I've tried fast traveling to an inland point and riding my horse to the coast to avoid summoning the long ship at the fishing dock. I've tried meditating 100 times. I've tried progressing quests and clearing up the weather. I've tried the obvious restarting of the game and console. Nothing works. Every time I go back to the south coast in England to find a bream fish, there's either absolutely not one fish in sight or 1 out of 10 times there's fish that show up for a second and then disappear. I know I'm in the correct location for the Bream fish because I've seen other people get it in videos but like many other people, it's bugged for me.
@UbiKobold Hytham revealed certain information midway through the game after turning in "Breaking the Order" and gave Thor's Cloak but nothing more. I went to the village in Hamtunscire because of a video I saw of the quest for the father but nothing was there, no cutscene. "Breaking the Order" shows in the completed quests but not "The Poor Fellow-Soldier." We can't get "The Poor Fellow-Soldier" because Hytham does not move to the longhouse to tell us about the letter. Everything in the game is done aside from this one quest. I've got the platinum trophy that should show everything was completed. I only managed to finish the order trophy with another glitch "fix" on an old save previously mentioned. The issue is on all platforms, people here from Xbox, PC, and PS4. Progression for me is not cross platform, only PS4.
I doubt Ubisoft will ever fix this. They're probably too busy making more microtransaction armor packs to sell.
So I went ahead and loaded an old save from before I turned in the "Breaking the Order" quest for Thor's Cloak and tried finishing the game again without ever turning in the quest/medallions. Still had about 14-15 order members to kill. I rushed through 7 or 8 regions as fast as I could on super easy difficulty. Took about 10 hours. Again, the game was allowing me to turn in the quest long before I finished killing off all the order but I just ignored it. I left 11 order members untouched, still alive as I went into the very last region of Hamtunscire. Finished that last region and fast traveled back to Ravensthorpe. As I ran over to deliver some bad news, 11 red icons with "order member eliminated" started flashing on the screen one after another. It just automatically killed off those 11 order members for me. I ran up to talk to Randvi to tell her about Hamtunscire but before I get to her I see Hytham chillin outside the longhouse with the poor fellow soldier quest. So this must be yet another massive glitch but this one worked very much in my favor.
So this is a pathetic option to try to get the trophy if you really want it bad enough. I'd still like them to fix this since I won't be using this save file.
All the good weapons and armor sets were held back to be released later in the helix store. So there's more than enough of everything, you just have to pay extra for it. You have to remember this is Ubisoft.
That's exactly my situations. Trophies sitting at 91% because this one massive glitch. Dozens of other people in the same spot according to comment sections on trophy guides and youtube videos. That poor fellow soldier quest triggers far too early and then doesn't lead anywhere and never shows up again. I still have 12 medallions in my inventory even though I was able to turn in enough for Thor's Cloak. I've never experienced a game with this many massive bugs.
It's definitely an issue on all platforms, xbox, playstation, and pc. I guarantee we'll see at least 5 new character packs in the helix store before there's a fix to this issue, if ever. Not even an acknowledgment from Ubi support after 4 days.
I've had all legendary animals killed and turned into Wallace at the Hunter's Hut almost a week now. Each one has a red X over it and at the bottom it says, "Now proudly displayed in the Longhouse." Only the big white elk is on the wall, nothing else. Is it because I slept with Petra and then immediately broke up with her? Did she steal my legendary animal trophies?
@kaks_187 It's still not on the "ISSUES UNDER INVESTIGATION" list. So the investigation portion of the process hasn't even started. But they're working hard on the new Hel armor pack for the helix store, expect that soon...
@adarklore Translation: Ubisoft is putting funding and resources toward a greedy cash grab microtransaction team instead of putting more funding and more resources toward making a bigger, better, and more productive bug fixing team to make the game playable. Got it.
Yet another helix armor+ pack released today and there's still no update or fix for this massive bug? Ubisoft is officially the most greedy and shameless developers in the business. I think there's now more armor/weapons in the helix store than in the base game lol. The time spent on making microtransactions towers over the time spent fixing this massively broken game.

I also remember when you could jump off a view point in the direction of the platform and there would always, 100% of the time, be a safe landing spot. Now 4 out of 5 times I jump off from a view point/fast travel point, I take a ton of damage. On occasion if it's high enough, I will straight up die from the jump. Of course the only bugs/glitches they fix are the helpful ones like heavy attack saving us from high fall damage so now it's just a mess.

Looks like Ubisoft is going to continue ignoring this issue. So the only fix is to reload a save from before turning in "Breaking the Order" and replaying a weeks worth of progress or wait for NG+ and spend 30 hours rushing through the story. Or just give up, sell the game, and never buy another product from Ubisoft. This is pretty disappointing after years of supporting Ubisoft and always defending them.
