

@AnimusLover It's the fact Ubisoft led us on for 2 years letting us think it was coming at the end of the development life cycle so something to look forward to and then suddenly now telling us it's not coming.
I wanted to replay the story with different choices and such but without having to grind so much again. It's 2022 and NG+ is common and Ubisoft games in general have been adding this in for years. Immortals Fenyx Rising did it within months, so no reason Valhalla couldn't have had it as well in a similar fashion. This is Ubisoft being LAZY! Just because you don't want NG+ doesn't mean many others don't. It has been highly requested for 2 years and we got led on that it would come at a later time. This is why people are upset. I'm happy that you didn't care and are happy as is, but many of us looked forward to this. If they said from the start 2 years ago it was not coming ever, then today would be a different story but they led us on with the hopes if it being added eventually.
Ubisoft, I absolutely HATE the photos showing on my map yet when I open the filters and turn off the "Misc" where the 3 types of photos are located NOTHING happens and they remain on my map yet if I turn off any of the other filters they will disappear but not the Misc to disable photos. WHY?!? Please fix this! I know it's minor overall but I don't want to see photos littering my map with what could also be potential spoilers if I happen to cross over one while browsing the map if it's close to another point I am trying to mark with a waypoint.
This game feels very unfinished and rushed. This is for PC version of the game and can't speak for consoles but I would assume same bug there as well.
Ya this is ridiculous, logged in first time after 1.1.0 and thought it changed to blonde and went to change it back to find out that was still red and depending on the hairstyle it looks pink. [censored] Ubisoft? Where the F*** is your QA here! Every [censored] patch adds more bugs and lowers performance and seems to be making things worse. Get your F***ING s**t together!
These crashes are so frequent and it's driving me insane! I have submitted a support ticket days ago and sent in all files requested (MsInfo, DxDiag and CBS.LOG) and you now try to tell me it's my 144Hz refresh rate monitor then blame my RAID0 array but this new rig is much more powerful than my old one but my old one I was running 144Hz as well and I have run RAID0 arrays for a very very long time. It was never an issue before so why now? Sounds like just excuses to avoid taking responsibility for your incompetent dev team who after a year seem to be unable to fix this game! I sometimes crash in 5-10 minutes and sometimes, and rarely if I am luck can get closer to 30 minutes, but this is just detrimental to gameplay and the enjoyment of the game. I have no issues with many other games I have played on this rig or my previous one so don't tell me it is my machine at all, it is something on Ubisoft's end and it needs to be sorted the F out ASAP!
At this rate though, I will never buy another Ubisoft game and will boycott anything and everything Ubisoft as I have done with EA for at least a decade now. I know many players will still buy but FFS come on, your stature in this industry and usually much better quality is all being thrown away because of this game. To the Ubisoft higher ups, this dev team is incompetent and needs to be fired and hire a group that knows what they are doing because this is ridiculous and I, and many others, have lost patience with this game for the past year of BS crashes and bugs/glitches, etc.
On top of sending those files, I have tried reinstalling the game (cleared all files from my computer before reinstall so everything was 100% fresh), tried limiting to 60 fps, disabled g-sync, tried just mouse and keyboard, tried just gamepad and tried hybrid just to see if it was input issues, tried an sfc /scannow, etc. and NOTHING has worked. I don't use any overlays, I don't overclock (even tried underclocking a little), disabled everything and ran with no startup items or other programs and nothing has helped. I didn't play since 1.3.2 so I can't say about that but before 1.3.2 I was actually fine for a little while but I started playing again this week and pretty sure (especially after reading other posts) that the problem is 1.4.0 is a POS game update. If I'd have known a year later the game would still be a broken piece of crap I'd have never bought this game or would have shortly after requested a full refund!

They then ask me to send the dxdiag and msinfo files a second time. I said that's pointless but fine I did, next response they send is to try all the previous steps again too with a clean boot and try playing and adding startup items 1 by 1 until I find the problem program. A second [censored] time they ask me to go through all of their pointless steps that I humored them with the first time but to ask again is an insult, [censored] YOU GUYS you incompetent morons! I know this is said and some just say it but I work in IT and I have done this stuff and self taught for 20 years before I got into IT as a new career field. I knew more than you guys did before you started working for Ubisoft and likely before you were even out of high school. Don't ask me to try steps a second [censored] time when I knew even the first time was useless but I did it to satisfy your process.
What a joke Ubisoft has become! They're about to be added to my list beside EA for companies I will never ever support and I haven't touched an EA game in at least a decade now so... your call Ubi! I will never purchase another Ubisoft game (not only because of this but this is a big part of it now, leading us on for a couple years and now take the lazy BS way out) so now I am uninstalling all Ubi games and their crappy desktop app. Ubisoft has earned a spot tied beside EA at the top of the list for companies I will NEVER support again.
This drives me f***ing nuts! (along with the million and 1 other bugs in this game. Ubisoft wanted to compete with CDPR and CP2077 and beat them to the punch it seems but Ubi has no care to fix it, now at 1.1.0 and they keep adding more bugs and worsening performance. Wish I didn't buy the physical C.E. otherwise I'd have demanded a refund on this sloppy half-a$$ed game.
@fractal009 You got further than I did before I gave up and waiting for this game to be properly fixed and out of early beta state. I expected MUCH better from Ubisoft, this game has been a disaster. I love the setting (I have always loved the Viking era more than any other, and the AC series has always since the original been one of my all time favorite series), the combat and that's about it, the rest is utter garbage!
Tons of bugs (I picked up an opal but game crashed and now the opal still shows on my map but is not in the world no matter how many times I went to go to that location in hopes it will correct the opal showing on the map), the beyond stupid skill tree, lack of being able to customize armor and weapon appearances like in Odyssey (why this step backwards?), performance issues that were supposed to be fixed in 1.0.4 but are now WORSE and so on! What an [censored] joke! (I play PC, just not to confuse the performance issues with consoles which have their own issues it seems too). If I didn't buy the physical collector's edition I'd be demanding a full complete refund weeks ago. Odyssey was phenomenal overall but this game took so so many steps backwards it feels like some kind of sick joke.
Ubisoft, get your s**t together! I'm glad I didn't buy Watch Dogs Legion and even with the recent Black Friday sale wasn't enough to get me to purchase any other Ubisoft game after playing this. I am almost tempted to cancel my Immortals Fenyx Rising pre-order as well at this point and pretty much turn Ubisoft into what EA is to me... dead! I have not bought an EA title in at least a decade and refuse to ever buy an EA game and after this I am about ready to put Ubisoft in my "never buy from again" group of game developers/publishers!

@Tolkyyn It was a blatant lie they used to bait players for 2 years to then just drop it on us a couple of months ago and confirming we won't get NG+ due to a lame BS excuse. It was done within months (at most) for Immortals Fenyx Rising and could have easily be done similar here but they are lazy and lied to us the whole time. I'll never give Ubi[censored] another cent. Similar systems existed in Immortals Fenyx Rising and yet they added NG+ within months so this team is just LAZY and incompetent when they say they aren't sure how to implement it. It's not hard, look at Immortals Fenyx Rising, within months of launch it was added and worked great. Do similar here ffs! As for ACPR, I don't care which Ubisoft studio is making it, this decision for no NG+ means Ubisoft is now tied with EA on the list of who I will NEVER buy another game from ever again.

So, for me using Xbox One controller have these same issues with constant and random disconnect/reconnect causing severe lag as it's trying to switch between m&K and back to controller but I also noticed that when Valhalla starts up that my controller turns off. Happens 100% of the time and ONLY with Valhalla. Odyssey no issue, Fenyx has no issue and every other non-Ubisoft game I tried has no issues and it is literally Valhalla causing the controller to completely turn off as the game loads up.
I keep losing performance every patch! 1.0.4 claimed to fix the memory leak but gave me some serious drops into 20's fps range for no reason. 1.1.0 has not brought me into the teens sometimes for no damn good reason. I'll be at my average 60-65 then boom for about 2-3 minutes I'm in the teens until this game sorts itself out then will randomly happen again when it decides to have a fit again. Ubisoft have become so ridiculously incompetent I'm glad I didn't buy Watch Dogs Legion and Far Cry 6 is definitely not happening or anything else of theirs from this point on until they sort themselves out!
