I started the quest line that lead to "The View Above All" and didn't realize it was recommended for level 90. My power level is only 56, and I'm playing on Hard combat and I've been stuck trying to close the door for over an hour.

-I can't find a way to give up the mission and return later.
-It won't let me turn the difficulty down saying "You cannot change the game's difficulty during this activity."
-The power gap is pretty bad, a lot of the attacks are one hit kill or drain most of my life bar. My attacks do pretty small damage.
-The checkpoints are very brutal, if I die closing the door I have to run back across the bridge and back up to the door so it feels like each attempt takes 10-15 minutes.
