Hi. I'm enjoying AC Valhalla Japanese edition with PS5 version. Japanese edition have serious gameplay problem because select & cancel buttons features are swapped. (O button = cancel, X button = select)
This loses game experience so much...please imagine these buttons actions are swapped when you play. TT
I confirmed that PS4 version has no problem, but only PS5 version has this serious problem. Why don't you fix this?
PS5 system setting don't allow user to swap select and cancel buttons (PS4 had it though.), and AC Valhalla don't let us to modify select & cancel key, so only UBISOFT can solve this issue.
Also, today 1.1.1 patch has released but this issue didn't fixed.
I hope this topic catches UBISOFT staff and it leads to solve this problem. Thank you
@maildotcoi I found one correction in my original post.

O button work as select button, and X button work as cancel button in the gameplay. This is totally opposite action with PS5 console, so it is so confusable.
Hope this bug is reproduced at UBI dev team and fixed soon.
Hey @Ubi-Ginge , could you take a look this issue? Please give me your thoughts.
@ubi-woofer Hey, seems still not resolved this fully confusable issue.
What the status of the fixing?
To modify console's settings affects seems all of console's experience.
So I believe it CAN'T be workaround.
do you have any progress of this issue? Please report the progress since this issue is ignored for long time.
@ubi-woofer In the above Youtube videos, please see carefully about "X button is assigned as Back". It's mis-assigning. Japanese users faces this problem during all playthrough.
About key swapping feature offered by PS5 console, I knew that feature from first PS5 launch, but it's super difficult to manage them.
Because we need to press opposite button between displaying one and controller. That also difficult to recognize which button to press... it can't be a solution.
@ubi-woofer I am really appreciated to receive UBI supporters!
I'm sorry for bumping this thread for several times, but I'm so happy finally getting reply from you.
I've uploaded two videos to describe what's going on PS5 JP edition.
Those video shows what is critically happened within AC Valhalla especially in map screen.
Hi, I found the glitch when the user pushes the X button by putting the cursor on the fast travel point, it works as a select button.
The UI said the X button works as Back. (Please see 2nd image.)
Also, I faced the same problem when I'm putting the cursor on the target.
The X button worked as the “Track" button even UI said the O button is “Track”. (Please see 3rd and 4th images. They are before and after of pushing the X button.)
@UBISOFT staff, please check the above glitches and fix them. Thank you.
