Hey internet. I bought the biggest version of Valhalla, and have gotten quite far in the story. And I'm enjoying it. However. I do not enjoy not being able to even use an option given by Ubisoft. Ubisoft has taken away a FREE CHOICE, something they pride themselves on, away from me. You can kill and murder people in the game, do drugs, cement kingships, and burn entire villages. And yet, when you go an get a tattoo, they do the ink through the clothes. I can not view any NPC Nude despite the option to turn that feature on. And I have spent hundred upon hundreds of my own well earned $$ on this franchise, including this title. I have been playing AC since I was a kid. I'm 24. And I just feel like I have been completely duped. My money is worthless if I can not play a game as it is meant to be played since launch. I was raised by Mormons and Catholics. They don't like nudity. But they like free will. The right that god gave us. And they enjoy the pursuit of happiness. Which our founding fathers gave us the right to. And yet... Ubisoft has taken these rights from all religions and all races. And Ubisoft, you have taken my favorite videogame franchise's choices away from me. And not just me. If I wasn't a nerd sitting in his parents house playing videogames, I may have been urged to seek legal consultation. But I'm not. And AC is my favorite franchise. Please fix this.
@mahatmaali And I was politely going about it on the most proper forum. At Ubisoft itself gg. And believe you me, I would never want to take anything away from the amazing playing experience that they have presented us. And if that means buttoning my mouth, so be it. But I am one mouth among thousands gg.
@virtualawesome I don't mean straight like sex and stuff. But, I mean, the men are shirtless in Valhalla, in Odyssey we see women topless and statue genatalia, and way more beyond this. But as you said, censorship took its role. Which is fine. But, I'm native American. I took a DNA test tbh, and I believe in the preservation of naturalism and beauty through *all* natural things. I feel the same way as a number of LGBTQ people, who believe that censorship should not stand in the way of sexual freedom, spirituality and religion, nor the pursuit of happiness. So, you take it as what you will. But, Ubisoft is doing a dang good job dealing with what has been set before them. And I also believe that people such as me, don't have the right to tell others that "you should be naked" or"you should put naked people in your videogame" unless they were already doing it.
@mahatmaali So, despite being upset about the inability to use certain options in AC Valhalla such as nudity, I do whole heatedly believe this could be the biggest, best, most well received, and over all, most money making game for both AC studios in Quebec and other places as well as Ubisoft. You guys are solid, amazing companies, putting out amazing games, with next gen graphics and computing. But I believe there is a very slight disconnect with your fans and your last two games very specifically. I myself think your last three games produced may have actually been your best work thus far,as compared others with voiced opinions. But regardless, there are probably a couple things you guys can work on to give the best overall historical, cultural, and mythical videogaming experience. But. You guys are the big honchos here. So, you guys obviously do what you KNOW is right(not what everyone else says because you guys deserve and keep those rights) and I will keep playing your games, in hope I have just as fun of an experience as I have in the past, just in the future. I look forward to playing your amazingly rich and succinct Irish plot and storyline currently here in the present. You guys have a good day, and if you could, take the time to read my feed back. With much love,
a loyal Ubisoft Player
