@apestront this type of bug is how you destroy your whole franchise. There's no way any logical person would buy another Ubisoft game. I've already shared this with 100 people on discord and other friends. No one will buy AC games in the future let alone Ubisoft.
That's money in the bank. That is bad business. Your shareholders are not going to be happy once they find out that your lack of responsibility and accountability has diminished profits.
Good luck.
Guys it has been 3 months with no fix. What is the deal?
@sbheathcote could you give me the exact location of where you were standing? What did you eat this morning? What sign are you? Pisces? Aries?
Man, I put out so many positive vibes into the Universe hoping the Devs would get this right. I think I need to change my religion. Buddhism is too patient. Maybe Nihilism? idk
I've tried to trigger this quest everyday by meditating on it, sending positive vibes, and also asking Jesus to fix the bug. Nothing has worked. Please help!
@ubi-woofer "Unable to give the brooch to Hunwald, due to looting it prior to starting the quest
"Rest assured" - why should we? You haven't shown any progress thus far and it's been 90 days. You're a broken record or a Customer Support Robot at this point. Beep boop beep "No progress - rest assured - progress being made but we can't show you any proof - beep boop beep."
I will go back to meditating and sending positive vibes as that's as tangible as your "Under Investigation - Rest Assured" responses.
Also, please understand we aren't upset at you Ubi-Woofer; you aren't a Dev. But maybe you guys need new Devs? Rest assured, the one's you are using are incompetent. Also, rest assured, no one will be purchasing Ubisoft products even after the fix because of the gross negligence and incompetence. But who knows, maybe some more meditation and positive vibes will change that!
@ubi-keo the patch did not fix anything for me. Logged on, still have brooch in my inventory, still no quest marker in Linconlshire or anywhere on map.
I am on the "Find and speak to Ealdorman Hundbeorht" Chapter 3.
I have a riddle that I think you'll all like:
A Dev named "Ubi" - who has 7 AC Valhalla glitches to fix - was walking to St. Ive's. Along the way he received 20,000 emails, 500 bug fix requests, and 7 chickens.
How many glitches went to St. Ive's?
Hello, just posting again to remind you that this problem is still not fixed...after 5 months...and thousands of people not being able to complete your game.
No fix. No accountability. Bad customer service/support.
That's your legacy Ubisoft.
Have a great day!

Almost 5 months since this bug has happened without a fix for thousands of customers. Just wanted to remind everyone who works at Ubisoft and on this board: Your failure will follow you forever! Taking people's money and then not delivering a product that works. Isn't that considered fraud?
I think we should all report Ubisoft to the Better Business Bureau and then reach out to some gaming magazines and distributors to let them know of this fraud.
Why haven't we heard any updates? It's been weeks. Do you think the thousands of paid customers forgot this glitch was game breaking? Do you think we would just forget?
Idea: maybe fix your game?

@ubi-borealis manually saving and then loading new saved did not work. Also, loading old saved games where I could click the different territories to try and trigger the quest again did not work. No quest icons. Brooch still in my inventory.
Bummer.
@maybe2maybe3 I don't have the option to pledge as they are the last territory to pledge - maybe this is why it's not working?
@magaswagnar #2
Also I did try verifying my files after patch was downloaded -> installed -> quest still not working -> quit to desktop -> verify files -> re-open game -> still no quest marker
@ubi-borealis Yeah, I don't have time for a video but here's my proof.
