With some of the new aesthetically pleasing updates like having the hidden blade only equipped with bracers (thumbs up Ubisoft!) I have one thing that bugged me enough to literally start over from power level 400....armor appearence customization? I’m not a big fan of basically ANY of the final appearances and would love to be able to have the “fine” appearence (or any other) even after I’ve upgraded past it.

I literally started the game over so I could have the Blue shirt Raven tunic and am playing with really low stats/one rune equipped just so I can look more the part of a viking and not some type of demigod. I’m sure further down the line there will be some more ‘simple’ looking armor/clothing packs in the animus store but I would really be like a kid on Christmas if I were able to either downgrade my armor or have a seperate appearance tab. Thanks for your time!

Valhalla was my introduction to the Assasins Creed franchise and I didn’t know what to expect. I love vikings; if reincarnation is a thing I totally want to be a viking in my next life. That being said I enjoyed the game but after I played through it twice I just decided to play Origins today and I went from content to disappointed real fast. Valhalla is literally a shell of the game it should be like origins but with better graphics.

There are SO many things they did away with that shouldn’t have and then there’s the elephant in the room that Valhalla is broken. It’s bugged and glitched to hell. I really hope Ubisoft pulls together and 1. Fixes the game and 2. Takes our advice to add some of the things that should have been there on release day. Something makes me doubt that will happen as I think the game is nothing but a cash grab, but we’ll see

I’ve been playing (and loving) Origins the past few weeks after being fed up with valhalla and figured out why Ubisoft has left us with a broken game.

Valhalla is literally a withered up shell compared to the great game Origins is and Ive heard that Odyssey is even better. Valhalla just seems like a Dollar Store ripoff of the former AC games and they’re still trying to stick their hand in your wallet with the stupid dlc and ridiculous gear packs they release.

I can’t wait to tear into Odyssey after I’ve conpletely finished enjoying Origins, but after pondering on WHY it’s so [censored] up I’ve figured out that they just rushed to release this for Christmas while everyone is sitting at home in quarantine and spending all their unemployment money in the helix store! Doesn’t it make sense? I’m personally pretty [censored] about it too.

I hope they actually fix this game instead of just saying “eh to hell with it” and wipe their hands clean. This game could have been SO much better. End rant.

@jagglenutts exactly! Everything is already there, just one update away and boom Eivor can customize just like jonsviking! I would prefer to keep the gold stats while changing the appearence but I wouldn’t really get that mad if the stats went down with the upgrade. I just hate looking like a golden god in grantebridgeshire for instance.

Yeah odyssey is next on my list. I’m not really even sure if the first couple games are gonna interest me, but origins is really good so far and playing as a spartan next is pretty exciting!

Oh wow, they do exist! I was beginning to wonder if any Ubi mods or staff actually got on this forum. If you want the long explanation you could go read a few of my other posts and the complaints everyone else posted. And don’t take any of my passionate response personal.

The short answer why I think it was rushed is because the game is broken. I can't play the game for more than an hour without it crashing and that's been since I got it months ago, even though it was "fixed" according to the patch. There are countless others, but you bet your [censored] the glitch was fixed where people could fish with a spear and get easy gold!!

The only fix I've noticed from the patches was the crazy boats on land when you're talking with Ubba, Sigurd and Ivar in like the 2nd quest when you get to england. Everything else just doesn't seem to matter. 

The only thing that seems to matter is the weekly release of stuff in the helix store so that people keep churning in that $$$. God forbid they would add some normal armor/weapons that didnt have fricken laser beams shooting from the helmets, or 1h swords that everyone's been asking for! Instead we just get crap that seems like it was actually made months ago but just now getting released for extra helix gold.

This game could be so much better if things would get fixed instead of just worrying about the money and maybe Ubi listened to what people want added! Like I said, that glitch for easy silver sure did get fixed pretty damn fast! Where's that hustle with everything else?

Don’t hold your breath. I’m extremely [censored] off at valhalla. They could have made this game SO much better and with Vikings there’s much hype that went into this game and it was a complete letdown.

Does everyone see the winged horse from the valkyrie pack as jet black wings and pretty much everything else? I would have never imagined black wings...and in the icon it’s different. So is it just me seeing this or are the textures wanked?

I got origins at gamestop for $20 (which was stupid could have gotten it cheaper) and I bought oddyssey gold which has ac3 and I think I paid $30. Can’t wait to play all these games once I’m tired of valhalla!

So I haven’t been on these forums long and just wonder...do any of the dev’s or staff typically reply to any of these threads or let you know in any way that they’ve taken the idea? Or are they just the silent observing type?
