

Just bought it yesterday - today I get "this product cannot be activated right now" when trying to launch the game.

@laeron2000 I dunno if this helps someone but I just got it to load up. All I did was go into settings and hit the box under Network that says Change Proxy Settings and then I got a pop up saying it was ready to play. [censored] unless they issued a patch at that same instant. Do I even have time to play now? Geezus
@laeron2000 reinstalled the entire ubisoft connect program - still cannot play Anno!!!!!!!!!!
Next reply from support: Run a verify game integrity scan. Seriously? I included in my ticket that I had done that. I have also since ran it at least five times and nothing is ever replaced. Can I get something constructive from you Ubisoft?
Btw I did it anyway, with no change in the result.

New and returning subscribers do not appear to be a priority for them.
Just my luck that I unintentionally start playing a game the very day before a new DLC launches.
All support has come back to me with is "try newest version of Ubisoft connect." Guess what, didn't work. I know, a shocker.
What is funny is if you google search my issue this happens on other Ubisoft connect/plus whatever games. And oh look, for that game it was also during a "free week." Hmm wonder what the common denominator here is. And I dont care, I am not playing free, I am paying for this service. Let me connect or give me access to someone who can help me!!!
