I think Ubisoft should add Proton support to Rainbow Six: Siege as to allow more people to play their game. R6, for me and many others, alongside other Windows games, run better on Linux via Proton/Steam Play. Streaming the game via Stadia or Luna is not possible for me due to the manner in which my internet functions, as well as Xfinity charging a lot already. All Ubisoft has to do is email Batteye asking them to enable Batteye support for Proton and that’s it! It’s super convenient for them and it would be super convenient for us! It would also make the game even more accessible to users who may end up purchasing the game on the upcoming Steam Deck! In all, this benefits all parties!

Edit: Additionally, the Steam Deck's pre-order phase, so far, has seen far more success than, say, the pre-order hype behind the Valve Index and HL: Alyx--there is already more appeal in the Deck + Linux gaming than there ever was before.
