Romance with Kassandra, 😥...
Well, not literally, but I am frustrated we could not have dated Kassandra, even as one-night stand. I think there should have been like this: if we declined to romance Kassandra, her final scene would have been as intended, but if we had opted to romance her, there would have been an extra scene with Eivor and Kassandra going to an isolated place, having some extra dialogue, getting laid... then Eivor would have woken up alone with a letter from Kassandra apologizing for not saying goodbye for thanking her/him for their time together and some. But I can only imagine...
Anyway, I am very thankful for bringing back Kassandra and her VA Melissanthi Mahut. Please feel free to bring her back as many times as you want!
What is next?
I am very interested to know what will happen to Rainbow Six Extraction after the current season of Maelstrom Protocol ends, about 109 days sfrom now. Coincidentally it will end right about 1 year anniversary of Rainbow Six Extraction. Then what?
The final planned post-launch content, "After Effect" Crisis Event is here among us and Ubisoft has been way too quiet about the future of this game we, the ones who accepted its existence, love. I am concerned. Ubisoft better be preparing a strong "Year 2" for Rainbow Six Extraction for us. I hope Ubisoft ceases trying to please the R6Siege players, a huge strategical mistake, who shamefully snob this game, and focus on the public that TRULY cares about Rainbow Six Extraction. There is the potential, and hopefully Ubisoft has the vision to achieve just that. Remember that Rainbow Six Siege had a bad start, but became a actual success with strong and lasting investments, and I hope the same happens to the underrated Rainbow Six Extraction!
Here is HOW timed Seasonal Festivals could return
Ubisoft pitifully told us the Seasonal Festivals (Yule, Ostara, Sigrblot and Oskoreia) will not return. I think this is a pity, and I have a solution to make things right: Make us choose from Ravensthorpe's "big house" (at the throne) which Festival we would like active; we could change the desired Festival at any time, just like Decoration for the village! The activities would also work as usual, and the only things missing would be the rewards, that, as you said, would be bought from any Store with Coins.
Everybody happy, let's do it.
Increase the post editing time limit | POST HERE
I found out that once we post something there is only 10 minutes to edit it. I think this restriction is wrong and should be removed. For example, what if I wrote misinformation or/and misspelling and wanted to correct it? I shouldn't have to create a reply to my own post to "correct" these.
I think it is fair to let us to edit our posts anytime we want, but displaying when the edition was made, highlighting the latest time of edition and if one wants, to click at it to check the history of timestamps of editions.
ASHRAF ISMAIL should have been credited!
I watched the credits and Ashral Ismail's name was completely omitted on it, not even as "Special Thanks", as if he was never a part of Assassin's Creed Valhalla! Complete absurd.
It is a complete disrespect to the Legacy he left only only at Ubisoft but also to Assassin's Creed itself. Not only he was directly responsible for 2 of the best Assassin's Creed games ever (IV: Black Flag and Origins) he spent most of development time of Assassin's Creed Valhalla as its creative director (at least 2,5 years, a long time), before stepping down due to his infidelity accusations and later fired by you (part of desperate measures to keep your image, getting rid of any liabilities). Only 5 months between his departure and the official release of Assassins Creed Valhalla, too little time to justify his absence from the credits, regardless of his wrongdoings in his personal life you wronged him too. Not even Patrice Désilets was ignored like that (he was co-credited in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood as "Story by").
So please, Ubisoft, as you are severely patching Assassin's Creed Valhalla, make an opportunity ASAP to give Ashraf Ismail a proper reparation and put his name in the credits of "Assassin's Creed Valhalla".
Turning "Pulse" bisexual was a Mistake
Administrator or moderator, please feel free to lock this topic if this bothers you. I am only interested into expressing my critical feedback against this Wo-- retcon done to Jack "Pulse" Estrada.) What. The. Hell!
I am a Rainbow Six Extraction player ( spoiler). It made me care about the Lore, and subsequently, the Operators, although apparently Rainbow Six Extraction is pitifully non-canon to favor the spoiled R6Siege. Anyway, reading about Pulse, I was surprised he was a couple with Yumiko "Hibana Imagawa" (a fine choice) and have a child together, Mako. Then, yesterday I was watching a recommended video about the lore of Rainbow Six Siege with audios found at that new Nighthaven map that explains why the operators of Rainbow, including, Pulse, left Rainbow for Nighthaven ( spoiler) and when listening about Pulse, Kali says "Pulse credits his recent performance Spike to: A) breaking up with Hibana and B) affirming his bisexuality". (
To start the reasoning for making Pulse for leaving is very poorly elaborated and makes him quite pathetic as a character.
"Boo-hoo broke up with Hibana, depressed, gonna leave Rainbow because I don't ever wanna see her again in my whole life, but, oh, I'm biii, I'm happy"(ha) and that's it??! When a simple temporary leave of absence to seek psychoterapy would have fixed him. There could be much more elaborated reasons to convince him, as a former FBI Agent, presumably someone loyal, patriotic, and a sense of duty to leave Rainbow: perhaps he had a falling out with Rainbow's methods, with Six leadership, had a personal tragedy or a hazard in a mission and Rainbow was unsupportive of him... just look what the iconic Sam "Zero" Fisher went through the events Splinter Cell Double Agent and Conviction to leave late Third Echelon. Even if Pulse left Rainbow as a ruse to spy on Nighthaven (a common fan theory) there really should have been a more elaborate narrative to convince Kali to let him join Nighthaven, rather than a reckless "gamble".
Speaking of narrative, I read the wikia, and found out a former writer called "Lauren Stone" claimed without any evidence earlier this year Pulse was supposedly always bisexual and "biracial" ( - aff, such a cringe racist term made up by w--s to refer to mixed ethnicity people, I, a "south american native", am far more "biracial" than Pulse ever was) and went on and on with several claims he was always like that, creative director, writer and narrative director approved that, he never cheated on Hibana (funny to assume he would be the one to cheat for being bisexual, or for being just a man) and blahblah... she tried too much to excuse that decision, only 7 Years later, is a wonderful thing, when it is not. But then that was the same writing who turned The Division's Faye Lau into a traitor (Grr), killed her (GRRRR) but she wasn't really a traitor then after she was dead they made her lesbian as well because that is seemingly virtuous to do to raise a (dead) character... but Lauren is not the real problem here.
Ubisoft must stop retconning characters to fill w--ing Agendas. Being bisexual is not an issue, I wouldn't mind if Pulse had been bisexual from the start, but what IS an issue is this trend Ubisoft low-key does to elaborate w--ke ploys to manipulate targeted audience to buy their games or return to them by retconning characters into something relatable. "Pulse bisexual? This will surely attract bisexuals to spend money on Rainbow Six Siege, STONKS". It is not enough to explicitly create new characters deliberately designed to attract LGBTQA+ consumers (Flores, Osa, Sens), but to retcon any character into whatever agenda Ubisoft wants them to be part of, just as Zombliezzard Entertainment did several times with Overwatch with Tracer lesbian, Soldier 76 gay, changing Jesse McCree name to a [censored] one just to mislead "the Internet" because of some [censored] employee, and beyond... it is very insulting, preposterous, from Ubisoft to presume that, by making a character, let's say bisexual, you will make all bisexual players to love that character, buy your game, alll your DLC and microtransactions, and forgive and forget all the many flaws such game has. It does NOT work (example: ), you only estimulate Bigotry and all the related Prejudices instead, while making dissatisfied players even more dissatisfied with your game. And even the successful puppets will have only a short-term satisfaction with Pulse bisexual since the effect will pass shortly enough and all the problems of Rainbow Six Siege will flourish once again.
Back to Pulse himself, I was into his romance with Hibana wanted to see so much more of them together with Mako, and am crushed that you decided to ruin their relationship because some your writers wanted to make him bisexual. Do you know what would have been a better idea? To make Pulse fall in love with Kali, make them lovers, possibly making Kali pregnant as a result of their affairs, then Hibana would find out then they would argue badly with several operators of Rainbow meddling and taking Hibana's side, shunning Pulse so much he would feel so humiliated so he would join Nighthaven to be with Kali and her people. And this would still be a crappy idea! Yet, it would have made Pulse's reasoning to turn his back on Rainbow believable and arguably making Nighthaven a more sympathetic organization. Nobody likes Nighthaven.
But it is not too late to amend your mistakes. Pulse bisexual, [censored] it, but have him back at Rainbow to be with Hibana again to have their carry on with their life as a Family; being bisexual is not a problem for that. Bring everyone back to Rainbow. Stop retconning characters, Ubisoft!
Quartz discussion thread
I think Ghost Recon is the Ubisoft franchise that suffered the most worst inclusions from the company: overbloated open world, GAAS, Always Online, Gear Score, Battle Royale, and now subjected to be guinea pig of NFT (The Division would be a far more suitable franchise for this... thing). Why are we still here, just to suffer?
PIONEER should be explorable
I think one of biggest misses of Rainbow Six Extraction was not to allow us to explore the PIONEER, the vessel that is the Headquarters of REACT. We should control Ash to do the tour. There should be so many possibilities to wander in its interiors, meeting all Operators, talking to them, Thermite and Mira, checking on Mako (daughter of Pulse and Hibana), visiting the Singularity, using a target shooting area, having a practice room to test all weapons and gadgets, going to Medical Bay to check on injured Operators and rescued crew, meeting INDEX personally, checking on lore, backstory and updates, samples of Archeans, and so much more... all of this would be so much better than reading a Codex in a menu.
This is probably too much to expect, but I would love to see the developers of Rainbow Six Extraction to materialize the PIONEER.
ASHRAF ISMAIL should have been credited!
@vhaltyrr The petty lengths you go to justify your hatred towards Ashraf. Newsflash, "kid": someone can be a [censored] and do amazing things, and better than you. Besides, it is not us who should be hating him, but his wife and the actual people who were harmed by him, not a nobody like you. So your hatred is pointless. Ashraf Ismail, like or or not, did an amazing job for Assassin's Creed Valhalla most of its development time and deserves to be credited for this, period.
Regarding removal of dlc support!
I utterly AGREE with this post! Removal of DLC is UNACCEPTABLE especially the ones we paid for. Even if we didn't, there should be the OPTION to buy single-player DLCs whenever we want!

Improvements for the game:
You know, you, as so many others (even I did my part), have given great suggestions to improve Rainbow Six Extraction for the past year and beyond, but the problem is, Ubisoft just doesn't care.
Haven't you heard? The responsible developers from Rainbow Six Extraction STOPPED developing Rainbow Six Extraction a while ago.
And that is it, I am very pessimistic Ubisoft will change its mind and give "another chance" to Rainbow Six Extraction, especially it has been in crisis for a while:
Congratulations, Siege fanboys, Rainbow Six Extraction is Dead, "Hoo-Ray"
This video below explains what is this tragedy:
This is what we, non-Siege players, get when Ubisoft tries to sell a different, and arguably superior, game from Rainbow Six Siege while trying too hard to attract them to buy it: nobody gets happy. We Extraction players got way too little support and Siege players got outraged for Ubisoft daring to take their attention away from their "supreme" Rainbow Six Siege.
While I completely disagree Rainbow Six Extraction should have been a "DLC for Raibow Six Siege" , perhaps this blasphemous sacrifice would have made it prosper...
Watch Dogs Legion Bloodline
@suchy2808 Forget about it; Ubisoft, when drops a game, never goes back to it.
Crash to Desktop or Freeze crash on PC - Title Update 16 | POST HERE
@Gabriel-Knight Ah yes, Ubisoft recruits new employees through "Rabbids Coding"; what a revelation.
Online Mode was dropped way too soon
@KenTWOu You can do it right now. There are only 3 seasons on repeat: Rebels, Stripes and Nobles. The next one should be Stripes, (...):
Thanks for the video, and I also found one for "Nobles" season:
This said, I find those rewards for season "Stripes" awful, the rewards of Nobles are not much better, even though I liked the helms and that plated armor. "Rebels" is clearly the season with the best rewards, I feel lucky for starting playing Online Mode while this season is active, I am absolutely certain I would have dropped Online very soon if any of the other active 2 seasons had been active.
The only thing left for me is buying "Arctic Fox Outfit"; since I have 700 WD Coins, I am not sure yet if I will play this "Stripes" season just enough to earn the remaining 300 WD Coins (grinding until level 42, yuck) or just buying them with real money from Ubisoft in-game store...
You can play solo missions in Friends Only mode. You can cycle through all solo missions: choose one then go to main menu and abandon it, a new one reappears on the same spot. You can reset the location of a solo mission, choose another mission instead, choose the 1st one again, repeat that if you want a specific location. That's a non-issue, really. And as Se7enOne said above, not enough ETO/xp to make a fuss about.
Yeah, I learned soon enough to do solo mission in "Friends Only" session, though I did not know about these nice tips to cycle through locations. But this was a very annoying issue because this was not supposed to happen in first place, and the 2nd time it happened those 2 idiots managed to kick me right when I was almost escaping the restricted area to complete the solo mission. Bringing GTA Online again, it waits until you finish any activity in Free Roam to only then kick you from session.
I understand GTA Online, even with its flaws, is a very high bar to reach, but Ubisoft should have tried harder with Online Mode of Watch Dogs Legion.
Online Mode was dropped way too soon
GTA Online, from Grand Theft Auto V, is the game (mode) I played the most in my lifetime, since 2015 and counting (even playing it rarely these days, I am too rich there) so since Ubisoft brought a similiar mode to Watch Dogs Legion, then after completing Main Campaign and DLC "Bloodline" I went to play Online Mode. It was mostly a CHORE.
Since Ubisoft dropped Watch Dogs Legion after "1.5.6" update I know my opinion literally will not change anything about this game, but I am interested in giving some feedback.
- The world is so much empty to explore, the only collectibles are from Hotspots (Stars, Mask or Tech Points), that are few (10 or so?) and respawn WEEKLY, no daily or hourly respwn fopr different classes of items (ETO, clothing, weapons, vehicles...).
- Mission designs of coop missions are BROKEN by default, unbalanced missions requiring the players to restart from BEGINNING if someone dies or fails the mission? Not even GTA Online had this [censored], and that has some really broken missions (aham, "The Doomsday Scenario"). "Project OMNI" is one of the most broken piece of unbalanced [censored] I ever played, if not for really good players and my personal determination I would never finish them. "Wolfpack Leader" series of missions are just almost as terrible.
- "Events" is only a single type of event (destroy a OP CT Drone that spawns Pursuer and/or Kamikaze - the worst - drones) that only spawn at 2 places, Stockwell War Bunker and Tidis Park that is only really difficult because of the exploding Kamikaze drones and also most Agents are most likely underpowered to fight them (Aiden Pearce, with NEGEV, is by far the best option to bring to this Event).
- I must complain about the travesty that "Aiden's Jacket" is; all you had to do was to copy the model you developed for that cameo at "Bury Your Dead" mission of Aiden's Trenchcoat but your Jacket was a really poor imitation, putting that on Aiden it was so wrong, almost like "mutilating" a piece of himself.
- After finally reaching level 80 there is literally nothing good to do, even because money is barely useful apart from shallow cosmetics, and Tech Points become only obtainable by 2 Daily challenges or those weekly Hotspots, so at this point I can no longer recruit more members to Dedsec.
- Wasted opportunities not to bring more story missions that would complement the main campaign, like developing further Mina Sidhu, showing where Jackson Pierce is, addressing the canon fate of Skye Larsen, addressing if Sabine Brandt really died or not, what ws done to Richard Malik after his arrest...
- For twice I was doing a solo mission in free roam in a public session and 2 idiotic players decided to kick me from session and I lost the progress I was doing!
So on and on, Watch Dogs Legion is so poor of content, while having the issues of main game (buggy, no physics, unoptimized, bland, generic) and worse (terrible lag on missions) it baffles me how pretentions Ubisoft was into putting a separate mode for Online and abandoning it in just 1 year instead of integrating it to main campaign just like Watch Dogs 1 and 2 did so well. Watch Dogs Legion really killed the franchise didn't it? Since the next Season begins next Tuesday I'll check it to see the rewards but if they do not interest me I will just uninstall Watch Dogs Legion, I will not even buy the 500 coins required for me to buy the awesome "Arctic Fox Outfit".
Rainbow Six Extraction is DEAD and this is ALL YOUR fault, Ubisoft!
Past week I read a colleague in this forum that the development of Rainbow Six Extraction concluded "a couple months ago"
(https://www.reddit.com/r/R6Extraction/comments/118lz11/follow_up_extraction_development_has_stopped/), and it is actually TRUE: https://discord.com/channels/863058244934696961/931183133322260520/1077765928940474378: (https://discord.com/channels/863058244934696961/931183133322260520/1077765928940474378) . This is beyond absurd!
All that Rainbow Six Extraction basically needed was NEW CONTENT to attract and retain existing and new players, [censored] R6Siege players since you tried way too hard to bring them to Rainbow Six Extraction and they snobbishly shat on it ("nOT BUyiNg Dlc"). There were promising leaks but you apparently decided to scrap all that and move on, just like you do to every game you stop giving support, which should not shock me anymore especially after Watch Dogs Legion (buggy, horribly optimized, little content and broken mission design for Online Mode...) except Rainbow Six Extraction has been SOLID since the very beginning, no serious balance issues, very well optimized, very well polished, but it lacked CONTENT, and your updates were very lacking: Crisis events, cosmetic items on in-game store, 10 new prestige levels with only 2 cosmetic rewards, no new maps, only 2 "new" Operators (Zofia and Echo), unfinished story. How the hell did you expect people to keep playing Rainbow Six Extraction??! Even I, who love this game, have been playing mostly for Maelstrom Protocol to get those 120 RC, and a little more to complete those weekly Ubisoft Connect challenges, because I do not feel incentivized enough to replay the game, not to mention matchmaking is harder and harder to find other expert players; weekly special assignments, almost impossible to find a squad, cross-play included.
I should have been more disturbed when you dropped that news at the end of 2022 titled "Rainbow Six Extraction – Crisis Events Will Return in 2023 and Beyond!" with the "yearly road map" subtitle, that is, all your schedule for this year and presumably beyond is nothing but reruns of Crisis Events, wow. This is very shameful since not even with worse (or at least far more broken) titles as Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Watch Dogs Legion you were so negligent with updates and patches; with the former, you cancelled "Transcendence" DLC and 2nd Raid but you compensated with "Red Patriot", "Amber Sky", AI teammates, "Operation Motherland"... why the hell not with Rainbow Six Extraction??!
But then I remember you have been in significant crisis for the past 3 years or so thanks to your terrible management with titles getting cancelled and such. But the Assassin's Creed games and Rainbow Six Siege, your "golden-egg chickens" have to keep going and [censored] the rest, isn't that right? Watching Rainbow Six Siege getting a "YEAR 8" but Rainbow Six Extraction not even getting a "Year 2" is extremely baffling, a "vomit in my face"!
I do not know for how much longer I will keep playing Rainbow Six Extraction. If nothing changes, I will quit this game after the return of "Nightmare Fog" since I want to complete that disgraceful "Sane in the Brain" Study to unlock "Noxedimus HeadGear", which should become easier with Echo, I hope. Afterwards, no more.
The worst part is your silence, the false hope you give to the caring Rainbow Six Extraction players, and the deceit to newcomers, buying and playing Rainbow Six Extraction expecting to have updates at some point. If you are going to stick with your "completion" of Rainbow Six Extraction, just admit it for the whole world, make a official statement that you will no longer support nor bring new updates to Rainbow Six Extraction, it is the only dignity left for you to do. Or have decency and bring developers back to resume developing new content for Rainbow Six Extraction. Make up your mind.
Please release this game on Steam
Since Ubisoft has been released it's post-2018 games on Steam, even Ghost Recon Breakpoint, it is a matter of time Rainbow Six Extraction goes to Steam. I estimate this release will happen around early May, when next Maelstrom Protocol season begins.
By the way I read a Reddit post where a Ubisoft employee states on Discord that the development actually ceased.https://www.reddit.com/r/R6Extraction/comments/118lz11/follow_up_extraction_development_has_stopped/;
Crash to Desktop or Freeze crash on PC - Title Update 16 | POST HERE
After 50 days, I ran The Division 2 to open those "Compensation Caches" and have some casual fun at Washington. In less than 3 minutes, the moment I crossed over the east gate of White House to open Map, the game froze and crashed, once again.
SLOOOOWWWWW claps claps clapsss.
[Feedback] After Effect
After a failed 1st attempt last week, yesterday I managed to find a good team to complete "Spillover" 3 times in a row, and managed to complete all Studies in the process, nice! "Spillover" managed to become pretty fun with a good team and Defensive Operators such as Smoke and Tachanka
(LMG, MOUNTED AND LOADED!).
With this, I can officially say the "After Effect" is the VERY WORST Crisis Event by far!
My ranking of the Crisis Events:
- Nightmare Fog
- After Effect
F, Crisis Events, it does not look like Ubisoft will make any more of you.
