I know there are a couple similar problems up on here already, but on the off chance having more posts about it helps Ubisoft to pay attention, I got through Seas of Fate until the point where you're told to board Sigurd's longboat, and once I do, the game loads for a bit, then dialogue starts and the camera cuts back in to show the boat just sitting at the dock while they talk. Can't move, can't use raven, can't look at the map, can only move the camera and change things about in my inventory. I know from an IGN article that in theory the ship is supposed to move and you're supposed to be pulled out of the animus, but that very much isn't happening
Well, I resolved my specific problem, and unfortunately the fix was as disappointing as the fact that these problems are around at all. I play at mostly medium settings, with some of them at high, and generally get around 30 fps, which I'm satisfied with, as low settings are genuinely abysmal, and while I can run high settings at about the same framerate, load times become untenable. As a last ditch effort to try to solve the bug, though, I turned the graphics down to low, and suddenly the game loaded in quick enough to show an animation of the boat pushing off that apparently, Ubisoft didn't code to play when you actually load in, but at a specific point in the dialogue. This choice is utterly baffling to me, given that the dialogue starts playing before you load in, but hey, at least I've figured out how to progress in the game I paid for
@ubi-baron so far I've encountered no more problems using the graphics settings I had been previously, at least in terms of the game actually progressing properly.

Have the same issue here on PC. Tried restarting the game, loading an earlier save file and playing back up to it, etc. Just stuck in place on the boat unable to do anything. Really sucks, I was looking forward to playing this much more today
