That is a pain in the behind but I'm more annoyed to the Raven challenges. The enemy detection of the player is making me paranoid. I have to check my back all the time and still some one of the ai seems to see through a fence or something like that. Also I guess I have to check youtube videos about these challenges because that was the only way I managed get all the Gold challenges in the first challenges last year. It is completely pointless to try to complete the gold on your own because of the player detection. You have to complete it like it's scripted chain of events or you'll fail.
I fail to see why these challenges aren't done so that they would be fun to return even after you completed the gold. Now you grind and grind until you get the gold and never return because you don't want to go through the pain again.

The red dot is the ruins where you find dozens of snakes. I just roamed around the red circled area and aligned my direction so that I rode the horse straight from behind the herons or straight in front of them. When they take flight you either hit them immediately because they are flying towards you or they fly the same direction you are going and you catch them almost immediately.
I've encountered this same problem with X Box Series X. So it must be a bug in the whole game code, not just PS4-version of the game. Hopefully I get those skill points when I return to England but I'm not very optimistic about that. I've bought 3 or 4 scrolls in Svartalfheim.
I can't help but feeling that "This is the way" with these challenges from now on. Every week there's a nagging feeling that something is going to be wrong with challenges and once or twice a month something is broken. There should be at least some sort of an atonement from Ubisoft to the gamers because all this trouble caused to them.
I had the same thing. I completed the Isle of Skye addon on Assassins Creed Valhalla and not one of those achievements got unlocked (all three of them). I found all the viewpoints, met eagle bearer and completed the story arc. All three Challenges are still locked for me.
Seems that weekly challenges resetted few hours ago, but no new challenges are available at the moment. Did Ubisoft stop publishing new weekly challenges to Far Cry 6 or is the challenge system broken again?
I'm missing one too and I'm playing on Xbox Series X. Could this have something to do by getting those extra two experience points from the Saint Dennis Tomb which couldn't be used at anything? I'v had those since playing through the Siege of Paris and having all the skill points before I found the tomb and read the Isu text?
I accidentally redeemed The Way of Berserker from the Ubisoft Connect Rewards even though I already owned it because I preordered the Gold Edition. So I lost 60 coins for nothing. Is there any way of getting them back?
Edit: I tried to submit a ticket for this to the support but surprisingly I can't. You can only contanct Ubisoft by chat when dealing with issues about redeeming rewards. And the chat is not open in the week ends.
This is what I was about to write to the ticket but submit it...
"Hi,
I preordered the Assassin's Creed Valhalla (for Xbox) in 2020 and got The Way of the Berserker as a preorder bonus in my game. I accidentally later redeemed the Ubisoft Connect reward for the same addon and lost 60 coins in that. I suppose there was a bug in the Ubisoft Connect that you could redeem rewards that you already owned. Is there a chance to get my 60 coins back?"
Why do you only get coins from buying from ubisoft store? If you're using a console you are bound to buy games and their DLCs from Microsoft Store or Playstation Store and you won't get coins from them. Ubisoft will get their money from all of these purchases so why console owners are put in a lower status from PC Gamers?
@spirantcrayon22 I think that the support staff is between rock and a hard place with this. They have no way of helping in this situation and because of that, they don't reply to these messages. I bet many of them wanted to correct this pretty simple thing, but because of these support ticket and chat limitations they have no way of helping.
I returned to this game after few months and I was suprised that I had lost a lot of gear since last the last time. I also noticed that I had a lot of incomplete packs with one or two items missing and I couldn't even buy the missing gear (only got some sort of store error). Then I found this topic and realised that this is more spread problem. I wonder if this is ever going to be sorted out because the game is no longer getting any new content?
@kingbeard
50 Window assasinations and this limitation makes me wonder if Ubisoft just wants to annoy us with these challenges. If you are not just on the ledge and it won't count. I made 29 assasinations yesterday and got 13. If I would care about this game anymore I would be furious to Ubisoft for wasting my time with this completely pointless limitation. I've completely lost interest to do these weekly challenges for all Ubisoft games few weeks ago because I just had enough of these completely pointless challenges. Just these kind of challenges feel like a pointless grind to complete and what you get from it is just not worth it. If you would get a gear pack or special weapon or something like that then maybe grinding 50 window assasinations would be worth it, but just to get a tattoo it isn't.

Yes I had to because the online error the game gave me so those kills didn't count. I tested Farcry 6 and it too had online problems first but then it connected to Ubisoft servers. I did Farcry's challenges first and then returned to Assassins Creed and run around killing herons. This time game counted those kills and I completed the challenge.
Btw. I found it easier to run over herons because they die from one hit and it is usually quite easy to hit them from full speed. Snakes the otherwise you have to kick 3 to 4 times first and then run over them at least 10 times. That takes a lot of time and I consider that grinding.
@kalleka1a
Great! I ran around with my horse ramming herons and they didn't even count because online problems with servers. Then the servers came back online and I had to run around again after herons. I don't think that's what Assasins Creed games should be about?
I wanted to start a thread for this challenge because it has been in the weekly challenges multiple times already. I think this challenge is ridiculous because it's pointless grinding for the player. You only make 1 point of damage if you ram the enemy with your horse so you have to do damage other way (and hope you leave just a tiny bit of health to the enemy and do not accidentally kill him) before calling horse and try to kill the enemy with it. I just think this kind of a challenge is pointless because it doesn't require any skill from the player but just pointless grinding to complete it.

@robgurd31
I'm playing with Xbox Series X and no progress on challenges for me either. So it's not fixed.
I managed to complete Watch Dogs Legions challenges but Valhallas do not work for me either. I have the Android App for Ubisoft Connect and that always recognizes when I start Valhalla, but now it doesn't do anything when I start the game. Yesterday the map gave me an error that there is some kind of an online error going on. Today it doesn't say that and I have the other players Jomsviking available at Ravensthorp so there is a connection between Valhalla and game servers. I bet there is something wrong with Ubisoft Connect at the moment.
