yep, i get the same problem, i also found a video of youtube where the guy goes to the same place and he also can't loot the treasure.

it would be interesting to know if anyone managed to pickup the reward or if this has just not been tested at all.

and the overall state of the game and its bugs I feel like the game wasnt finished in time for release so they had to cut content and forgot to adjust the completion percentage calculation.

I also felt like the side quests in your settlement were nice. There were some in the beginning but midgame there were like none. Felt like they cut content there. Maybe I am right about that

@SouldrinkerLP there is no doubt the game was not ready for release even if i thankfully did not encounter any breaking bugs yet, but lots of little ones, some are unforgivable from a developer pov, because they mean nobody at ubisoft even checked that under normal circumstances the game was complete (not having the correct number of fabrics for example, and taking 2 weeks after release to correct what must be at worst a half hour job)

the irony is that i only bought valhalla at release because cd projekt delayed cyberpunk because THEY are a company which will not release a unfinished product, and well i guess the bad guys win in the end...
i bought origins and odyssey months after release, for a lower price, and less bugs, i guess i will go back to this for the next ac game...

it would be nice since the online service on the map is so unreliable to have a cached local mode for at least the personal photos so that even if the service is constantly in error, our own photo still display on the map since we have no use for the cloud back-end for these ones...

@timothy8132000 did you complete the alter offer which demands you some fabric?

i have stopped receiving fabrics after i completed the quiver and ration upgrades but i didn't do the altar offer, so now i won't be able to complete it either.

i think they didn't include the fabric altar in the total count, which would prove that nobody in the 'quality' team has tested the game to 100% completion even just one time...

@wojak88ldz69 yeah, i can reproduce pretty much each time i go on the world map, view a photo, and then the second photo i try to look at, the error pop.

i wanted to post something about it yesterday, but since this forum is also bugged, i couldn't post for most of the afternoon.

i think it's not only a question of traffic, but the service is simply bugged...

@iadmusic can you reproduce the fix consistently, in my experience, this has been bugged from the start, and even if it glitches most of the time, sometimes it continues to work, even if it's rarely.

@georgemanos13 i have 3 ubi games from epic store, all can be managed from the uplay client without any interaction to the epic store whatsoever, so if the new ac game goes by the same rules, you shouldn't need the epic store as soon as your game is in your uplay library.

if you could preload the game from uplay without using the epic store, any other interaction should also be possible in the same way.

that's because online services are not properly sized, so on launch day they may have temporary outages since there is a rush of people.

it has happened with pretty much every ubisoft game with online features, sometimes they even had to remove the features like in the ac game with the french revolution for which i don't remember the name.

consider yourself lucky if that doesn't break game features, just some additional stuff like photos...

@thewildrage maybe so, but i think a lot of people are not really aware of the distinction

since game developers are quite slow to upgrade technologies, the windows 10 requirement is still quite recent, so a lot of non technical minded people won't see the windows version requirement.

@CookieRocks2 that's why they updated rs2014 after not touching it for years to disable the mods.

they released a sh... product and they know it, so they try to force people on it by removing the better one...

@Absoluto05 the ubi store is not very reliable, check that your order of the original game is in your purchase history.
if it's not, it may have been canceled.
another way to know is using your bank account to confirm the money for the game has been removed.

@madcat220 yes, it's really annoying, plus the button is not even labelled correctly, it says 'Update' then it 'Update and launch' ...

i wouldn't have any high hope anyway, since the initial release years ago, they pretty much did nothing to correct any basic design problems of the app.

when i go to the store, the axe and shield from the black knight pack are marked as owned, however, i cannot find them to equip in my inventory, so is there something i have to do that i'm missing?

@tyranusvader in any case, the ubisoft connect mobile app recognize that i did the challenge since it's in 'challenges recently accomplished' as seen here:

and the status is in ? so my guess is the challenge status is bugged and the problem is not in registering the headshots, but what the code to claim the reward is bugged where the code to check that the challenge is completed works as intended.

i'm not sure it's a problem of not registering vs not being able to claim it.
on the TOP LEFT there is a 1/1 which for me seemed to indicate the challenge is done, that's what happened for the other, it went from 0/1 to 1/1 when i did them.
otherwise i don't what is the purpose of this 1/1...

@xavcard are you sure the ps account from your friend is in the same region as you (or for that matter the console), there seems to be restrictions between regions on the playstation version of the game.

@ubi-smash happened to me the first time i did a reload after the start of the festival

• didn't happen on consecutive loads (i had to find a savegame before the start of the cask quest because the cask disappeared, speaks of how much bugs there are in this product, you find new bugs trying to walk around other bugs...)
• that was yesterday, today also happened when i used continue from the menu
