

There. I put in a request for a full refund due to a lack of achievements. If the achievements are added back to the game on Uconnect I will buy again. Until then, goodbye Ubisoft. There is NO EXCUSE for this!
Ok Ubisoft, If achievements are gone, then so am I. I cannot support a company who does this to their paying fans. I'm 37 years old and I've always been a long-time loyal Ubisoft customer for several generations. This feels so shady and what amounts to the ultimate betrayal.
@eog4rd 100% agreed. Please Ubisoft, bring back the achievements on Ubisoft Connect! I don't even want to play the game without the achievements.
@ubi-baron There is no understanding in this matter, sorry. Removing the achievements has got to be the stupidest decision Ubisoft has ever made, and for them to have the audacity to not tell us about the achievement removal before we bought the game? This is beyond infuriating. If they're not brought back, I will be doing everything in my power to boycott Ubisoft!
It's now been 10 days since launch. I would very much like to start playing. All my console friends are nearing the end of the game with full achievements. This whole situation with Ubisoft Connect is unacceptable. Any update yet?
This is an absolute outrage! Achievements were always a big part of Assassin's Creed for me. I paid full price for the game and season pass. We shouldn't have to stand for this! Bring back the achievements Ubisoft!
@redindianrobin Yes, they say that. But they still haven't been enabled, and honestly at this point, I have a feeling that they're not going to be. I'm upset because I can't get my money back if they decide not to implement them after all.

I preordered and paid full price for the Gold edition without a single mention by Ubisoft that the achievements were gone! I requested a refund twice now and both times it was rejected because I had "launched" the game. It's time to take this battle to the next level!!! [censored] this!

OMG!!! FINALLY! Two months later and I can start playing now. I reall don't know what this was all about. Like, how did this mess-up even happen in the first place?
I contracted Covid so I'm off work for two weeks. To not be playing my most anticipated game in my favorite series of all time because of some corporate executive's boneheaded decision is the most frustrating thing I've ever experienced.
This is just unbelievable! I really have nothing more to say. I can't even convey my sheer disappointment! Ubisoft was my favorite gaming company and for them to pull this BS was the furthest thing in my mind that could happen. They didn't tell us achievements were being removed. If they told us about this boneheaded decision before the Valhalla release date, I wouldn't have wasted my money.
ANSWER US UBISOFT! What the hell happened to the achievements? This absolutely ruined Valhalla for me. I preordered and bought the gold edition and now I won't be playing it. It's in my library and a total waste of money. Just bring the achievements back... what was the thinking?
@si_w Dude, I tried to get a refund for Valhalla twice. I was denied a refund both times because I had launched the game. I'm literally not playing the game and I don't intend to unless the achievements are brought back. Valhalla is just sitting in my library not being played. I feel cheated out of a game I had long anticipated. What makes you think I would buy any Ubisoft game after this?
I'm never buying another Ubisoft game again.
I can't believe this. All I wanted to do this year was play the new AC game in my favorite series of all time. I will not play without achievements. Why did this have to happen? Who at Ubisoft had the idiotic ball-brained idea to remove the achievements in the first place? What did they have to gain by removing them? I'm at a loss.
I was refused a refund, so I'm going to end it here and take a $130 loss. I won't be playing Valhalla and I'm deleting Ubisoft Connect from my PC and NEVER buying another Ubisoft game again. Only Steam for me. Peace out

I don't want to start playing and risk the achievements not being retoactive. Overall this whole launch was botched. I cannot adequately express my deep disappointment for something Ive been anticipating all year. How could Ubisoft let this achievement debacle happen? Like, what were they smoking?
Even if the achievements do eventually get put back in, this whole debacle left a sour taste in my mouth regarding Ubisoft. I've been a life-long supporter but I can never really trust them again.
