Encountered the bug too....
same as you described:
already raided Soham Hideout before i encountered this world event. followed the blind man along the path, lit the braziers, crossed the river with him, got ambushed by two enemies and then nothing.
there is no enemy left alive

did as you suggested and after another 15 minutes of searching the area i found that last damn enemy on a different island....
Don't know if it was because of what you suggested or because I ran around on my horse constantly whistling like some deranged psycho...

@piddleput sometimes during combat the bow wont move for me as well. Usually resolved by aggressively yanking my mouse to one side.
Gonna see if it still persists after the Great Scattered Army quest.
Sadly I cant complete the Wind-Blue world event due to the bug described here:

I know you are not responsible for those decisions but you might be interested in costumer feedback.
I am really disappointed to see that microtransactions seem to have an higher priority than fixing the game.
not just with this bug, but with many bugs that are around since release in November.

We are going on five months and still no workaround such as:

• ability to reset the quest
• give the ability by interaction with the wolf in your longhouse
• work with the modding community to release a save editor, that could edit the missing ability in
• etc.

But no instead we get more microtransactions, an ingame event to market even more microtransactions and the occasional "We are sorry for the delayed response. The issue has been forwarded to the development team." before soon getting just more microtransactions
just plain pathetic behaviour for such a big studio and publisher...

Didnt even know about the ability until I read about it multiple hours after I completed the quest.

@ubi-spud From what I read in other forums it seems to have somthing to do with the wolf not being close enough to the kids or player when the quest is completed.

I probably dont even have a save that dates so far back, due to the stupid 20 manual saves limitation

I went to bed yesterday and after I started the game back up again today, the bug was gone.

same issue for me
I enter the last stage and approach the first projector. All projectors realign themselves and I can't interact with them anymore.

Same Issue here but at the last part of the puzzle...
