i'm sorry to ping you yet again on this thread, but is there any chance you can give us even a tentative timeline on a fix? anything from "hope to have a patch by [ ]" to "the devs don't know if/when they'll have this taken care of" would be super helpful.
i think a lot of people (myself included) are waiting on this info to inform whether or not we'll keep playing, wait it out, start a new game, or quit entirely. i totally respect that trying to isolate and fix bugs on the fly post-launch is a nightmare, but it would be nice to know the status since this is such a frustrating issue.

update installed and glitch still very much present. support ticket still open, live chat disabled due to US holiday, and still no response on this forum. i love this game, but the complete silence from the support staff on this specific glitch while other topics are being updated is genuinely infuriating.

not to beat a dead horse here, but my support ticket (#13370751) has not gotten a response, live chat has been disabled, and reaching out to support on twitter has gotten me nothing but radio silence. even if your update is "there is no update at this time" could you please let us know that the devs are still looking into this?
again, i understand patching this stuff isn't easy, and i also know that support is slammed right, but the total lack of communication from ubisoft is extraordinarily frustrating. i've loved valhalla so far and i want to keep playing, but the bug/ubisoft's response so far is making that a tough call.

just read through the patch notes for tomorrow's update, and i can't tell if this issue is going to be addressed or not. can we get a definitive answer on that, please?

i'm holding out a tiny sliver of hope that it might be part of the "npc/boss behavior" bit, but just: ugh. this is super frustrating, and the total lack of communication from ubisoft even more so.

any word on whether or not the devs have been able to reproduce this issue yet? or if they're considering adding another way to interact with the customization/crew elements of the shipyard and barracks the way we can use shops and stables outside of ravensthorpe? like others, i'm trying to figure out whether or not i can continue to invest time in this game.

@Ubi-Woofer @Ubi-Borealis will this be addressed in the 12/15 title update? i see "addressed various npc behavior/animation issues" in the patch notes, but i'm not sure if that fixes the settlement glitch. if at all possible, could you please respond with a yes or no before the update drops?

thank you so much for getting back to us! i've updated my case file with a video clip, and i went back on several old saves to confirm that the glitch started after the raid on the settlement, at least for me.

i did the ledecestrescire arc first and then grantebridgescire arc; the raid occurred after the quest "reporting on grantebridgescire." during the raid, all the npcs move around, and the glitch kicked in after they returned to their usual spots.

thank you for responding above: re the 1.10 title update; i appreciate that you're still communicating with us about the issue. that being said, can you please let us know whether or not the devs believe they'll have this glitch patched before the end of the yule festival season? it's a settlement-based festival, and given that none of us on this thread can interact with settlement npcs, we're missing out on what is supposed guaranteed post-launch content.
i don't really know how to convey how ridiculous this whole situation is without getting strident, but suffice it to say: this game currently seems like an abject waste of money during a difficult year where i already considered the purchase a splurge.
any update you can give us right now would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.

@lewisstorer89 @Y2john84 any sites that are reporting a released 1.05 aren't accuate— the most current release is 1.04, and until ubisoft officially announces a release date for the next patch, that's what we're stuck with. the official ac twitter page and the ubisoft blog are the best place to get legit info on patch releases, but there is a rumor that 1.05 will drop in mid-december, so fingers crossed for that!
