I've posted elsewhere and been in touch with ubisupport prior to latest patch regarding this exact same issue. I cannot continue this quest even after the latest patch. My circumstances are the same as OP. Over 50hrs of progress and really unsure what to do at this point. I've progressed other arcs as much as I can given my power level, but this quest being broken seems to impair progress within others. Sometimes npcs don't move, or markers don't appear. Can we please have an update in regards to this bug as I feel all that have this bug have been left in the dark in regards to when it'll be fixed.. It's been over two weeks now since I first encountered this, and over a week since first reported. Not expecting miracles, it'd just be nice to get an update on this issue

Still no fix on this? We need transparency with this. I'm sure I speak for both myself and others within this community when I say that some of us still haven't seen half this game due to this bug. I've two saves that the bug has occurred on and with no way to refund I'm at an impasse as to what to do. Please just give us any shread of info you have on this bug. I mean it's been 2 months now since this was first reported. Tad worried we've just been left with no fix or update as to where you're at with it.

@l8v3lyn I didn't do the Chipping away quest first, I did the Pilgrimage to St albanes, then once it had bugged out I did Chipping away

So update for you guys, for me at least the patch hasn't done anything. Quest is still bugged.

Cannot talk to fulke after cutscene with the monk.
Cannot continue Chipping away quest in same area as the icons have disappeared on map, same issue with map marker on St albanes quest.

I have the same issue, fulke just stands there and I can't continue the quest chain (ps4 player)
