So happy to finally see graphic representation of the decorative items you can buy in the shops--a big help.
Gameplaywise, I haven't had any of the major issues, so I can't speak to that, but there are still graphical and audio bugs in many spots. I AM nervous about the enemy rescaling (I miss Odyssey's scaling options a lot) ... don't have the reflexes to make boss/zealot combat as easy as some can. And now they will be harder? Yikes.
BTW, playing on standard PS4, over 200 hours in and about a third of the game completed ... I am one of THOSE people who takes my time and collects and investigates EVERYTHING. So far, having a pretty good time with it.
Click-bait troll topic ... why did I even fall for that?
Have seen & killed a bunch of female warriors, with a flying head or two. This is a non-issue, IMHO.
@keepitvalhalla
I didn't say that no one has had "game-breaking" issues, I merely said that there are far more players you will never hear from on this forum who have NOT had serious problems. This is far from a perfect game but if you haven't experienced real difficulties, you may like this game ... or you may not. But I am really tired of folks who have had bad issues thinking everyone has had them, because that simply is not true.
Same problem as others. I have nearly 500 runes, with maybe half to a third slotted. Yet, whenever I try to socket a new one, 90% of the ones that pop up are already in use. I don't think I have seen this in the known issues/to be addressed mega threads, yet it has been a problem from the very beginning. I would dearly love to hear from Ubi about this issue ... and see it fixed. They want folks to stay engaged and keep playing this game, but QOL issues like this go unresolved ...
@ubi-mushy So, a week gone, still no Yule Fest for last year's loyal players ... I am assuming this will not be fixed. It's a shame that the folks who have been playing all along, despite the bugs & glitches, get screwed in favour of the new players. I am kind of disgusted by this, frankly.
I also am not getting credit for any of the Ubisoft Connect challenges this week (they started on 24 March, 2022). Not for the drinking game, Long Sword or Raven kills, or even winning Orlog. I haven't tried a River Raid this time, but I have a feeling it will be the same.
I know y'all are busy, but it would be nice to know that someone is working on this. Especially since the Odyssey tattoo is the best of the bunch!
Playing on fully updated PS5, all game patches installed.
This week (12 May through 18 May 2022) there is a special challenge to complete 5 timed Reda quests for 50 opals. Every time I complete one of these daily challenges I SHOULD get credit towards the goal ... but I get nothing. Related to this may be the known issue of Reda often only offering one rather than two daily quests. Anyone else have this problem?
Playing on PS5, console and game all up-to-date.
@silenthero66 Can I ask who the Boss is? There are some (Daughters of Lerion, Zealots) that are pretty hard even if you are quite a bit above their level. Also, don't neglect your equipment mix and runes/buffs. Also, a great trick to even out the harder enemies is to activate the feast boost--it really helped me!
And, as was also mentioned, there is NO SHAME in adjusting game difficulty to make the game enjoyable for you.
Maybe I'm just lucky, but I installed the game on my regular PS4 on Nov. 9, with the 1.0.2 patch and did tons of stuff before heading to Fornburg. Before doing much there I saw this thread and freaked out! I made an extra save and headed to the Seer's hut (some hut!), fingers crossed. It played without a hitch. Yay me.
I'm sure the devs will fix the problem for those that it affected asap ... unfortunately there are a bunch of bugs to be squashed. Still, even with all the issues discussed in this forum (too dark, vocal mismatches, stutter animations) it's a great game.
AC multiplayer games in the past were not much fun and even frustrating (AC Unity, anyone?) So I would agree with others here: please no MP for AC Valhalla.
I bought the PS4 version of Watchdogs Legion on sale (disc version) but I would rather play the game on my PS5, with the downloaded PS5 version. Will I get the free bonus Golden King Pack on the PS5 or is it platform-dependant? I think I need to start playing by 29 October for the code that came with the disc to still be valid.
Thanks and I'm looking forward to this game very much!
@Ubi-Verse So, I am a total muppet! I played the SoP DLC last year when it first came out and had forgotten that important R1 detail.
So I replayed from just before "Fire & Faith", did a whole bunch of Rebel Missions to get money, and bought the rest of the Reaper set. I already had like 3 or 4 scythes, so I equipped a pair of those with the Reaper set and did another Rebel Mission ... boom, Vendage Trophy!
I still have to complet those last 4 SoP quests again, but now I am happy and so sorry to have bothered you nice folks! Thanks again!
@Ubi-Verse I have not used R1 ... I never noticed that as an option in this play-through! Although I completed the DLC Monday, I kept a save prior to the last 3 "endgame" quests, so I will go back and give it a shot. Thanks!
@Ubi-Keo Considering how rare it is to get that trophy (1.1% of players earned) I might not be the only one who had this issue, but perhaps it went unreported because a lot of folks didn't realise they were missing something. Food for thought ...
@Ubi-Keo Here is the video, I think it covers what you asked about. Excuse the poor quality, I don't normally make gaming videos and the MP4 converter I used degraded the video considerably ... but I needed to edit out 10 minutes of the start screen!
@Ubi-Keo I had the full Reaper set on the PS4. This is a new PS5 run, not from a PS4 save. I can provide a screen shot of Pierre with no Repear offerings, I guess a video too, though I never do video saves. I 100% completed SoP on the PS4, so of course I did have the Reaper set then to do that. Will be back with that stuff once start playing again.
Thanks for responding, I know you all have a lot on your plates!
In the Siege of Paris DLC I am replaying the game on PS5. My first playthrough of PS4 of the DLC went fine, but now, although I am at infamy level 4 for the Rebel Missions, I have not been offered any more of the Reaper Armor except the first piece (bracers), which was free. I really want the trophy that you need that armor for, so I am a loss as what to do. I am very far along in the DLC and don't have a save from before I was offered the bracers, and that was when I played on October 7.
Any idea about how to fix this? I have since then travelled in and out of Francia, and shut down and saved the game daily. Playing on PS5. All updates installed.
@ubi-froggard No other Connect issues, as others here have noted, just the one for Reda's Ultimate. Also, 2 daily Reda quests were available the last two days, but only one on Friday, 5/13.
