So the current cheating problem in Siege is at an all time high, this also includes platforms such as console. In regard to the cheating problem in console, it's either of the following:
*Xim Apex adapters to use MnK
*DDoss
*Macros
*Cronus
*Strikepacks/modded controllers (Controllers with paddles do not apply to this, such as Fusion or Pro controllers. Only controllers with built-in decreased recoil mods, increased aim assist mods and rapid fire mods apply to the issue of modded controllers)
But the most common and most frequent type of cheating that plagues console Siege is Xim Apex adapters & MnK. It's so bad to the point that most cheaters that use MnK will openly admit to cheating because Ubisoft can't do anything due to legal reasons involving Microsoft and Sony. So the most repeated things these cheaters will say when they get called out is, "Ubisoft won't do anything about it so they can't ban me nor will I ever get banned!" However, there are some who try to closet cheat but almost all of these cheaters are bad at hiding MnK movement from players on controller, and will constantly deny that they are using MnK, even after being blatant.
Most of you who play on console do not know why Ubisoft is not banning MnK cheaters on console, so you assume that it's complete laziness. And I'm not saying that you're completely wrong, because you're not, laziness does have a part in this, but again they can't legally ban MnK Cheaters on console because of Microsoft and Sony being the ones to support MnK on console.
So it is because of that fact that I not only have decided to make this forum to share ideas with you all, but to give advice to Ubisoft so the problem with MnK on console can be dealt with so that both controller players and MnK players can continue to play without MnK creating problems. Here is my suggestions:
1. Allow MnK to be native on the console versions of Siege, by doing this Ubisoft will be able to legally ban players that use MnK without having to worry about a lawsuit from Microsoft and Sony
2. Add a feature in the game that detects the device input (controller or MnK) to separate controller players from MnK players, and separates MnK players from controller players by default.
3. Allow players to choose the match making they want and the game must stick to that selection. So if a controller player wants to play with only controller players, or if MnK players only want to play with only MnK players, their matchmaking settings will be default. If a controller player and MnK player want to play together, their matchmaking settings would have to be changed to mixed.
4. If a player is caught using a Xim Apex period, they should get banned. This prevents Xim Apex cheaters from trying to gain an overall advantage against controller players utilizing default settings.
(FYI, Ubisoft if able to detect Xim Apex adapters, but again, they can't do anything about it do too legal reasons currently.)
If Ubisoft is able to make this happen, then the problem with MnK on console will be brought down drastically and would give Ubisoft the legal rights to ban anyone using a Xim Apex.
Lmk, what you think on this suggestion. If you're on console, would you feel more safe to play Siege if this were in the game.
Specifically Pulse and Gridlock, these two operators do not have access to all of their units weapons, with Pulse not getting access to the G36C and the R4-C and Gridlock not having access to the P10 Roni, these operators should at least receive these weapons top their loadouts, or at least in Pulse's case if you're not going to add them to his loadout then at least add Ashe or Thermite to the game, regardless of the being high ranking staff/operations field directors.
@smyf1sh why'd you comment this in a R6 Extraction forum rather than a Siege forum?
If anything here's the link so you can actually post this in the Siege forums to have your statement properly addressed
https://discussions.ubisoft.com/category/616/general-discussion?lang=en-US
@lie-nus True but the difference between the two is Slyrr7 does it because he wants to game to be in his favor rather than an entire community, so he'll only agree with things that he thinks is good for him but not anyone else, whereas, MP4 wants the game to just be in a better state so it can be fun regardless of his own ambitions
@rambobambibambo Again these were already suggested by me and I'm glad that you have a stance on this too, but yours comes with a twist that Ubisoft does not want to incorporate into the Console versions of Siege with is allowing MnK players to play with controller players die to the disadvantages that it brings, they would most likely leave that kind of stuff to custom games while leaving online play a device based match making, MnK with MnK and controller with controller. But I do appreciate your ability to understand exactly what I am saying and am trying to educate others in this particular forum about
Ever since the release of Extraction, I noticed that there are many times where you'll be shooting at an Archæn (any kind), blinding spore, and archæn mine and your bullets will pass through it even though you can have your reticle aimed at them directly, and it forces you to lower our adjust your aim to the point where it becomes a hassle and wastes too much time to even shoot at them, and this becomes even more frustrating when you're playing on harder difficulties and you're being detected. This really needs to be patched because it's already to the point that I won't bother to shoot at anything unless it has the ability to inflict damage to the operators. Seriously, I'll let a blinding spore latch itself onto me or let an Archæn mine blow up and obscure my vision because it takes up too much time to try to shoot at them only to find a sweet spot to shoot at in order to destroy them. And it's even more frustrating when you're shooting at the Archæns weak spots and then aren't taking damage, and for some players, like my friends, it forces them to go for body shots instead because it seems to be more effective. If anyone reading this also has this issue, please feel free to comment on this post, and if none of this bothers you then feel free to comment why, but I only ask that this would be a discussion rather than a way for others to belittle people having this issue and those not effected by it.
As we all know, the nerf for Zofia was horrendous, and it made the M762 almost unusable during the Y6S2 release, and now with the release of Y6S3, we've seen some changes to make the M762 easier to control in the slightest, but it still isn't enough considering that her assault rifle still kicks alittle too far to the left every few shots, which can easily degrade the possiblity of winning a gunfight while playing as Zofia. So I am here to give my suggestion as to how to fix the M762 recoil while still trying to keep Zofia balanced (Please note that these suggestions are all based on opinion and I kindly request that you have respect for my opinion as I will have respect for you opinions and feedback, also note that these suggested changes will not just be for the M762 but Zofia's entire loadout for her primaries)
M762:
+Reduce vertical recoil by 10% and horizontal recoil by 15%-20%
-Reduce weapon damage from 45 to 40 points of damage
-Reduce weapon magazine ammo capacity from 30 to 25 bullets
-Replace 2.0x scope with 1.5x scope
-Remove angled grip (Only applies if performance and pick rate goes up)
LMG-E:
-Increase vertical and horizontal recoil by 5%-10%
-Decrease weapon magazine ammo capacity from 150 to 100 bullets
-Remove 2.5x scope
If you have any other ideas please let me know, your feedback is important and can possible help Ubisoft understand that just nerfing and targeting recoil for certain weapons only makes balancing worse when other changes are not applied
@milanvraay Jäger has the easiest recoil to control even after the nerf, saying that his recoil is uncontrollable is nonsense. With Ash it's all about understanding your controller sensitivity and her recoil. And Zofia's recoil is probably the only one on the list of operators that you've listened who's recoil is so hard to control that her M762 is unusable to controller players. Jäger's recoil is not hard at all, you have to be at bronze or copper to even think his recoil is impossible to control.
Name of the title
Everytime I'm in the third sub zone of any map, no matter the objective, the game will suddenly go quiet, even gunshots cannot be heard, and then the game will crash, please fix this
@slyrr7 while I do agree with you, some of the changes made have actually been from the community in regard to things that are heavily affecting the game, one of them being the fact people were complaining about Ember Rise uniforms & head gear and other yet similar cosmetics that blend players into certain back grounds, which is why they implements rim lighting, which can also be deactivated if the player chooses to. And recoil isn't becoming non-existent, they've been increasing recoil for certain guns, for example, Ash's R4-C has more vertical recoil and Zofia's M762 had both vertical and horizontal recoil added. But I do understand the frustration with changes being made only because of pro player opinions and it's not fair, but you have to directly look at a change that has been made due to issues as not a pro player complain because those charges are from reports from the community, while questionable changes that players in normal Siege community don't understand are almost always coming from the pro players, because they see certain things as unfair for them rather than from a community stand point.
And I do agree that a legacy mode 2.0 is needed so that way players can actually enjoy the game for the reasons in which they purchased the game. So my suggestion for this is to add a permanent Legacy Mode to Siege featuring old and new versions of maps, operators, weapons and weapon attachments, and gradually enhance said play list by keeping all of the original stuff there while adding newer and more recent content into it without disrupting the originality of the previously mentioned features. And should this be then they should implement a new customization feature in the Operators Tab in the main menu that allows players to edit their loadouts and cosmetics for regular play separate to another loadouts and cosmetics option setting dedicated for the legacy mode so players are not having to constantly fix their weapons between regular play and legacy play. Also make it to where all of the changes, nerfs and buffs being put into the game only affect regular play without ruining or disrupting the integrity of Legacy play. That way players who were fans of old Siege do not have to endure the changes of the modern Siege, basically separating the community between old and new, while also pleasing both crowds!
@milkdud Not when it comes to Crossplay, nothing can be fixed because of the unfair advantages PC has over Console because no matter what, MnK allows for more movement and no restriction towards aim while controller does restrict aim and movement. And none of the info I provided is off. As for your stats, these are your stats because I can even use Ubisoft's stat checker and it'll tell me all of the accounts linked to your Ubisoft account, whether it's Playstation, Xbox, PC or even Stadia.
@ChainedHawk reference here:
The only recommendation I can make is to simply remove her 6P41 LMG or replace it with an SMG or even a DMR, and if they replace it with a DMR and since she's Russian they would have to give her a Russian DMR, but since Glaz is the only Russian with a Russian DMR, they would have to add a new DMR to the game and I have only 2 recommendations for Russian DMR's they can add that they can give to Finka
They can give her the SKS/Simonov self-loading carbine which is chambered in 7.62x39mm and has a 10 round magazine
Or they can give her the SVD Dragunov which is chambered in 7.62x54mm and can have 10 or 20 round magazines
@ChainedHawk That is a terrible idea, giving her frags again will only boost her pick rate and her win delta, and forcing Ubi to have to renerf her, and giving her the FMG-9 is also a terrible idea because it has a low DPS and range damage output, and given that attackers are always at the disadvantage in a defender sided game, giving her one of the worst performing weapons in the game on attack with a stat value of 1.27 while also having the ability to revive herself and her teammates, which is vital to the attackers would only put her and her team in more of a disadvantage, and Finka players would get eliminated before even getting the full effect of her adrenal surge, and even then, on attack the Spear .308 isn't even that good as its statistical value is only 1.8 while the lowest attacker AR's stat values are 0.94 and the highest attacker AR stat value is 3.14, meaning that on attack her Spear .308 is less advantageous compared to most other attacker AR's, while on defense on Thunderbird, it is the best defender AR, and that says allot considering that defenders have the advantage every game and win more than 50% of the matches played and the only advantage the attacker have over the defenders is having better weapons, and when you have the Spear .308 compared to defender AR's and SMG's, the 9mm C1 outperforms it with a 2.66 stat value and Wamai's AUG A2 barely keeps up with it at a 1.75 stat value. Comparing the attackers AR's and SMG's to the Defender SMG's and AR's, attacker AR's stat values highs and low range from 0.94 - 3.14, attacker SMG's range from 1.06 - 2.12, defender SMG's range from 0.39 - 2.66, and Defender AR's range from 1.15 - 1.8. So at that point replacing Finka's Spear .308 with the FMG-9 only serves as a detriment to the attackers as a whole and Finka would not be worth bringing.
@ChainedHawk I think he's already given up, but either way, even if he's not convinced he's still 100% wrong
@BlitzCoinz as I said in the other forum you responded to, removing one bomb site makes attacking the more difficult, considering Siege is a defender sided game, defenders still have to protect 2 bomb site regardless of how easy it is to defend in Siege. Removing a site means defending becomes even more easy. That is why playing Secure Area in Casual is the easiest on Defense, because it's only one site and the attackers have to deal with a more defensively set up site in that mode. So no, removing a bomb site is not a good idea

And as much as I miss old Tachanka, I still understand the improvements made with the current Tachanka, and I think that they should at least bring back old Tachanka for the Legacy game mode when they make it a permanent arcade mode in Siege
@kanamoney Bro, you were literally trash at the game and you were Silver I and barely got carried to Gold III, you aren't good, and on top of that, you lied about your ubi account getting hacked and you got banned for cheating and you lost all of your [censored], you even made an smurf account and stopped using your cheats and your highest in Casual is Copper V, you're the definition of a trash player, so if anything, you need to learn to hit your shots and stop telling others to when chances are that they can easily out-gun you in Siege
@Horrible9135 I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Ubisoft cannot do anything about the MnK cheaters on console because first, it's not native to the game meaning the MnK cheaters need to use adaptor called Xim Apex's to use MnK in Siege on console, and second they cannot legally ban MnK players for cheating because of Microsoft and Sony having MnK support for their platforms/consoles. The only way to fix the cheating issue on console is to allow native MnK in Siege on console and by default have player/device input matchmaking to put controller players against other controller players and MnK players against other MnK players by default. And allow players to decide if they want to have closed device matchmaking to play against people with the same device they use (controller vs controller | MnK vs MnK) or to have open device matchmaking to allow players to play with and against people with different devices (controller and MnK vs controller and MnK). By doing this, it will give Ubisoft the legal room and rights to ban players that continue to use Xim Apex's to prevent those that abuse it from being in controller only lobbies and force players to legitimately.
@Slitmedic yes it is, that why the aim down sight sensitivities are meant to reflect the percentages of your actual sense, this is the case for every game that allows sense and ADS sense settings and multipliers
@Chef_Siege @Glucagon wrong because doing so means the health would be increased and the only way to shatter his shield is to melee his shield, meaning free kills for anyone that plays Blackbeard, The best way to buff Blackbeard is to rework his shield so that way his shoulders and the sides of his face are protected nut there's a narrow gap in between the shield that doesn't protect the center of his face which can significantly put him in a disadvantage in entry fragging, meaning he would still have to resort to his current role which is for post plant watches while on rappel. Blackbeard is not an entry frag operator, he's is a full on support operator designated for flank watch and post plant watches.
