Those are all great points, and I certainly agree!! I'm just wondering where the devs came up with the mastery challenge idea. Did we, the community, ask for this? Unless I'm missing something, I don't think we did. I personally would have loved some new side missions or daily missions to fill in the gap between the Paris DLC. Gosh, I would have preferred almost anything but these ridiculous challenges.
I'm on Xbox Series X, and I am also missing the Yule Festival. I'm one of those players as well that participated in the Yule Festival last year. I love AC Valhalla, and Ubisoft continues to be my favorite game developer. However, I do have to say that even I'm getting irritated with some things at this point. Chewy the resident pet wolf and Dandelion Puff the resident pet fox have been missing from Ravensthorpe for months now. The devs have supposedly been looking into this for quite a long time, but it never gets fixed. And now I can't even enjoy the Yule Festival. Ubisoft announced the upcoming DLC for a jaw-dropping $40. I definitely do not feel inspired to spend that kind of money on a product that I'm not entirely sure is gonna work correctly.

I really appreciated what you said here, as I feel the same. These challenges seem so perpendicular to how the game has been so far. If I used an analogy, I would describe AC Valhalla as cruising down the highway at a good clip with these mastery challenges running it off the road into the ditch!! Lol
I have been enjoying reading everyone's responses in this thread, and there are many good points in here. I have decided not to purchase Dawn of Ragnarok for two reasons.
Anyway, that's just my two cents worth.
Hello there, fellow Agents!! Last night, I was attempting to purchase some items with Textiles currency. I had a balance of Premium credits at the time, but I made extra sure to use the "Buy with Textiles" button. However, it somehow wound around to using my Premium credits and some sort of error message flashed across the screen. Before I realized it, I actually wound up using just over 1,000 Premium credits. I submitted a ticket to Ubisoft Support, but I was curious to see if anyone else had any problems with this.

Thank you very much for posting these!! These are very helpful, and they do a good job of listing the pros and cons of Dawn of Ragnarok. I continue to feel good about my decision to wait in purchasing this until it goes on sale. I'm still baffled as to why Ubisoft is asking $39.99 for this.

I totally hear you about the Kingbreaker. It's just not a good feeling gun on console at all. It feels like it fires in slow motion too!! Lol

Thank you soooooo much for that information!! I kept thinking that mine took so much longer to load up than before the update, and your test certainly confirms that. I also run a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD (I love that thing so much!!), and I kept looking at it to make sure the red light was flashing. I just kept thinking to myself, "Man, this game is taking forever to load up!" Lol

I'm having the same issue. I'm on Xbox One and a season pass owner. I was thinking that the SIege of Paris DLC would be accessible at 8:01 AM EDT, but it's still not showing up in the store to download.
Does anyone know if it will be available today?

I did that already, and nothing ever came from it. They claimed they were investigating it, and it never went any further.
I have to say that this is taken the wind out of my sails for Ubisoft. I have proclaimed Ubisoft as my favorite Dev for a long time now, but I've had troubles with customer service in the past as well. I get stuck in this endless merry go round, and nothing ever gets resolved.

Thank you for your response in this thread!! I had hope in possibly getting my credits back when I submitted a ticket through Ubisoft Support, but this is the response that I got:

I feel like I'm being penalized now for a having a Premium credits balance at all when trying to use Textiles a couple of weeks ago.

I also lost some Premium credits due to the Textiles issue. I lost a little over 1,000. They are still not returned. I hope that Ubisoft is looking into this.

Yeah, I'm skeptical about how much third person stuff there is. Like you, I'm not big on PVP either. I'm also not a big fan of first person games, although I can play them here and there. I think if Activision somehow makes third person available on everything, I would go ahead and get the game. I can tell I'm trying to fill the void of the third person tactical shooter!!
So, during Activision's presentation yesterday about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, they revealed a third person mode. Hmmmm. This has me greatly intrigued!! I'm not sure if this third person mode will be available in all aspects of the game, but it sure would be nice. I wasn't planning on buying this game, but this announcement could persuade me to get it. Anyone else here thinking about getting this game?

This is a great idea!! At the moment, I just use Textiles here and there just to do something with them. In other words, I buy things I will never use. Lol. To be able to buy an exotic cache or maybe even exotic components would be great!!

I got a response from Ubisoft Support that asks me to provide a video of the problem. Um, how can I provide a video of something that has already occurred? If I try to replicate the problem, that would involve buying more Premium credits to potentially lose forever. Oy vey.
