Recently, Steam has announced that BattleEye will work with proton on an opt-in basis from game developers. R6: Siege is definitely a game I want to play, but unfortunately can't as I use Linux.
This thread is to express concern and voice support for enabling Proton support for R6 Siege as I would love to see it be done. Please R6 Devs, enable it and let the Linux community also enjoy one of your best titles!
I've recently seen the Ubisoft team suggesting voicing this opinion to feedback and so I want others who also think the same to speak up. Wouldn't this just be great
Before someone suggests a VM or dual boot. backspace your message. and just go
Honestly did not expect this many people to share support for this matter. I think this is a great turnout and the Ubisoft team won't ignore our opinions. Can always count on the Linux community to speak up

I'm very surprised to come back to this thread, see 47 pages of people agreeing with each other that Linux support should be implemented by Ubi and STILL absolutely NOTHING has been said or done that actually means anything.
I think at this point it's safe to say Ubi is never going to implement Linux support, which is fine since it's their game. But I am never ever buying any of Ubisoft's rubbish games anymore.
