

Since we need an online connection to play, please check to make sure the Division's servers are online BEFORE making us go through the Startup Hype (epileptic warnings, snow drop screens, et al.) just to show us after all that that there is a BRAVO 4 outage... Please?

Its so pointless to go the long way to get to level 40 especially when punished by having the crafting bench magically only able to craft thing that are not gold-quality.
@nightravenxii At this point, I'm not really sure there is going to be a next update. TBH, I am hoping IF there is an update, that they just fix the "been broken for a long time now" stuff. Not really sure that there is going to be a new villain to introduce. SIDE NOTE - I always wanted them to let us find Vikram Mallik! (from the Odea Stores) and give him payback!

@nongenuine Its nothing on your computer. I have reloaded windows a couple of times going from custom to vanilla... doesn't help. I have gone from Windows 7 to Windows 11. Doesn't help. I have gone from DX10 to DX11 to DX12. Didn't stop the crashes. Further, I have gone from generic Windows VGA drivers to Intel to Nvidia. NOTHING has stopped the crashes. It isn't your system at all. Its the Ubisoft/Massive design flaw compounded by a lack of servers that were originally in place.
The "one" guy that says, I never crash - has never written what was done, just said very genericly that uses standard. AND IN MY OPINION, this one guy is either fudging on his experience, or he plays on another platform. I will say, I think its possible to not crash if you live in the same city (are one hop away) from the D2 servers for your region. If you understand hops, this might make sense.
@Krrrrz If you were to read all 42 pages of posts on this thread, you will see that EVERYONE is experiencing Freezes or Crashes while playing the game. It has gone on for YEARS. It isn't your computer, or your software. Keeping your drivers up to date is about the best thing you can do yourself to minimize the problem. On top of it, they will recommend that you verify your files. Doing so more than once every 2 weeks is a problem, because they havent updated the verify files, so almost all of your files need to be re-downloaded, which is just a time waster, and on top it, hurts people that have data caps.
I play a lot of hardcore. I died at this spot as a hardcore. Please fix this spot on the map.
Normal characters it isn't a big deal, but I'm asking the devs to please fix this particular spot.
I admit at first, I thought my HC died because of a server glitch, but I'm able to reproduce it consistently.
I ask that normal players give my post a thumb up to show they would like this fixed too. If you are able to duplicate it, could you also write a short note? I'm hoping that will help the process along. Thank you for taking time on this! Or if they want to have some fun with it, paint it up and say Death Truck or something!
noticed Ubisoft killing a few products. If you have had these in the past, but might not have them on your current system AND you think you might want to play them in the future, Install them now or maybe lose them forever.

In the past Ubi has said, we just don't support them. Now they are actually removing the games from their libraries on 1-September-22 also removing DLC for the products. So make sure to also install the DLC software.
@Ubi-Galaxy My abject hope is to not hijack the thread. Some of us (well mostly me) has gotten very frustrated at Ubisoft. Not individual people, just the corporate mantra. There is no (or very minimal) playtesting on software before it goes live. This is evidenced by the continued breaking of things that weren't broken before and will take a millennia (again imo) to fix. I mean realistically, the crashing has gone on for 2 plus years, with lots of new content, new broken content and nothing being fixed except cosmetics. Sorry again, thats just my opinion. Many of us, (me included) know that as support people venting frustration here is not exactly the best place to do so. I myself was banned for a week for my frustration level. I may start another thread simply to apologise for my actions. In those actions I was again frustrated with the current state of the game and in no way trying to belittle any individual but can see where it might have appeared that way. This is an awesome game and I am constantly shown how I need to mature emotionally.

@VPhelxV Just so you know.... If you go to task manager and select "always on top" you wont have to start a separate windows session. Ofcourse you knowing HOW to start a separate windows session, is in my opinion, means you got some intelligence.
Well for my 2 cents - much of the WoNY and later content is about the grind. Which is not a big motivator to me. I know many people here are all about maxing out their builds etc... I fail to see why pumping a baddie for 20 seconds with ammo is somehow desirable. For me, reality stops when it take more than 3 hits. I mean, I can see that one shot in the arm might not stop someone, but 40 - or a hundred? come on. And yes, I know its a game. I mean, literally, you could be shooting lollipops or feathers. Did you ever hear of Jujubees? I had a friend once shoot one from an air BB gun!

You will see that the fix is planned for TU16.... Since its TU16 now... I'm guessing in your opin its not fixed. My only suggestion is to hang in there... Or alternatively, join a clan that claims to do alot of countdown and only play with clan members.
I know its not important to the thread, but I play hard core, usually, so countdown isn't my thing. I didn't even complete the last season because... well, I don't countdown.

@MeS1eR Well, you could post here... A while ago, I got +1 on my whatever bad list they are keeping. My abject feeling on the matter is, if I cross that threshold whatever it is - If I cross that threshold, Ubisoft will again be hurting themselves, as I am like most users of Ubisoft products occasionally the frustration of their games is well.... And I believe that 90% of my posts are helpful. Okay maybe less.
But my point is... don't let their rating system affect you as a whole. Believe me, when I stop showing up here, I'll somehow muddle along with the rest of my now-miserable life. Remember... Games ARE supposed to be fun.
