@ubiexcellent While this is a visual error, it is different from most visual errors as this bug actually has a major impact on gameplay. It's not just something that looks silly like most visual errors but it actually greatly hinders the ability to use stealth which is a huge part of Assasin's Creed.

I am having this same issue. I've already opened a support ticket but I wanted to chime in here also so that I could follow this thread.

I'm the kind of person who is usually quite tolerant of bugs. I'll usually keep playing a game as long as a bug doesn't directly prevent me from progressing in the story. If a game crashes a lot I'll just save frequently and deal with it.

This bug however is just something I cannot deal with because it practically kills one of the cornerstones of any Assasin's Creed game which is stealth. Sure, stealth still works but when I can't see where the grass ends I'm constantly accidentally leaving grass and being spotted. Not to mention its really quite immersion breaking to be hiding in something that is invisible.

I really hope this is fixed soon so that I can start playing again. I didn't start experiencing this bug until around the 150 hour mark and I've been having a blast with the game till this point. I'm not super hopeful for a fix soon though seeing as this has apparently been an issue people have been experiencing since launch and it's still not fixed and based on the replies in this thread from ubisoft it seems that their team hasn't even been able to replicate this bug.

The issue is no longer there for me after the most recent update. I am so relieved! I thought I'd never be able to play the game again and I was really bummed about missing out on the upcoming DLCs.

Is anyone else still experiencing this issue after updating? I saw other people say weeks ago that the problem went away on it's own after taking a long break from the game so I'm hoping that the bug was actually fixed in this update so I don't have to worry about it coming back.

For the record - I am playing on a PS4 slim with a digital copy of the game.

@ubi-woofer I loaded my most recent save after the update and the issue was gone.

I had 6 rations, 15 predator arrows, 40 light arrows, and 23 hunter arrows. I then completed the quest in wrath of the druids where you meet Ciara at the base of the waterfall (can't remember the name) and after I woke up from the "nap" I had 1 ration, 5 predator arrows, 20 light arrows, and 12 hunter arrows.

I just started getting this bug. Happened after speaking to drunk Barid in the "Courting the Kings" quest.

@pastryunit247 Yeah I didn't see it in the patch notes which is why I was afraid that the bug was still there and could come back. I really hope it doesn't. They really need to prioritize this because it's game breaking. I am a person who is extremely tolerant of bugs and will always find a way to work around them but I just stopped playing once I experienced this one.

I killed the Black Shuck, Corpse Feeders, Gemad-Wulf and Alfred's Battle-Sow before returning to my settlement and turning them in at the Hunter's Hut. I received Petra's Arc but not the Hollowed Monolith, Vordr's Bite, or Iron Brazier. All four have the red X over them in the legendary animals menu of the hunter's hut and all of the trophies appear in my longhouse but I don't really care too much about those. I just really want Vordr's Bite.
