You can hardly definde how disappointed I am on Ubisoft. With their false promises and the controversial direction of their new games. Assassin's Creed in particular has lost its origins, authenticity and originality.
Also to rush the games on the market full of bugs and really bad optimizations.
They lost their gamer hearts. Their true intentions are in my opinion only based on profit, profit, profit...
but still.. I still really hold hope for the future.. to be a game studio by gamers for gamers.. but this hope and thoughts are very very low...
@schother12 It seems as if the official feedback from ubisoft at the time was only made out of necessity to appease the troubled, angry fans. I am 99,8% sure that they will never implement the TAA off option ingame and in future titles will be the same thing. I am so dissapointed and really sad. I was a very big Ubisoft FAN...
@schother12 I am so happy that are still people out there who doesnt support this TAA only method in games. We PC users and gamers deserve all the options and decide on our own if we want it or not. I wish there were a modder who could find a way to release a software which can change the AA on all games for example Helix Mod who helps with 3D Vision and other stuff. The Devil May Cry 5 Helix Mod helped me to disable TAA.
continue to stay on this topic
stay safe stay strong!
@schother12 more and more game goes with TAA forced nowadays. One of the first was for me with gears of War 4 and after that with gears 5.
some games I could manage to disable TAA trough Engine.INI File.
I have the feeling is all about Profit. You are forced to buy a higher resolution monitor with stronger graphics card to get a sharper image. 1080p is with TAA so blurry I cannot gaming very long.
I wish there are people who knows how to disable TAA with mods or special software.
I always thought PC is the only Platform where there are no limits and you can change all the things on your own taste. The times are almost over. It goes back as a console port PC. We dont get any special treatment.
Hope more people join our issue with anti aliasing forced games.
@schother12 I am so happy and proud that there are still people who fight against this unchangeable implementation called "TAA".
Thats a huge step back in my opinion what many new Games has this forced TAA in their games. So many beautiful crafted details which gives the world a soul are gone... why are so many gamers blind with the fact were this gonna lead. In my opinion a PC player and enthusiast should have given a variarity of option how he want to play the game and how it should look like. Set the graphical settings for his own taste and most comfortable with. I dont know why this TAA is so high praised. Please Ubisoft please gaming industry stop doing this...stop force TAA and other forced graphical settings like Blur or depth of field. We love playing games but this mess nowadays its terrible and change our enjoyment dramatically.
English is not my native language but I hope you can consider and understand what I try to say.
Please implement the feature to disable TAA ingame or let us the option to disable trough Engine.Ini
I am beyond disappointment!
so I reach with the conclusion you will do nothing to implement a toggle AA off option in the game dear Ubisoft. I’m so disappointed in you.
So for the future we have to find ways on our own to disable things we don’t want but haven’t the option to turn that off like biggest example TAA. My trust in you has gone.
all this post processing nonsense you do in every game…
Assassins Creed Valhalla Last Update is coming soon and put the journey to an end. After 2 Years the devs still didn’t gave us the possibility to disable TAA in the ingame options.
This is nowadays the definition of PC gaming…
I don’t know what to say…
wish you all the best
this is the last post on my side on this topic
so keep ignoring this topic Ubisoft...

dear Ubisoft Support Staff
10 days are passed since the latest official respond from your side. How is the plan? do the devs accept to include a option to disable TAA in the ingame settings or not? I want clarity now. We are waiting for this feature since game release.
@mad_macallan thank you very much to send your experience and statement against TAA. I wish more people could stand against this forced TAA. So many games nowadays have this big mess. I think the only way to rid off this problem is to program a software which disable TAA and other stuff like motion blur or DOF; OR to start a petition:/
all the best

@ubi-mark I am glad that we are finally heard and that our problem is examined and discussed
