I agree, I kind of get why they have decided to remove them in combat but for me Assassins Creed is all about the hood. Seems strange to want to bring back some of the feel from the old games but not have the hood available in combat. Fingers crossed they find a way to add this to the game.

I really enjoy the choice of weapons in this game, especially with the duel hands function. Despite being disappointed that one handed swords are not in the game, I have grown to like the long sword.

I think it would be awesome if Uhtred’s sword from The Last Kingdom could be added. It is a long sword and looks unique. The amber on the handle would look cool on Eivor’s back!

Origins and Valhalla have very similar photo modes. However there are a few functions missing in the Origins one that would be very welcome.

Just wanted to say a big thanks for adding 60fps to Assassin’s Creed Origins. It is easily my favourite in the series. 

Can I request you look into the possibility of adding portrait functionality to the game. You can tilt a fair way but not far enough. It is in Valhalla. Would be very welcome among the VP community.

I will try and record some footage next time I am on.

I use 5.1 surround sound. Xbox is setup as bitstream out and Dolby Digital. This setup has worked for 180 hours. I have only encountered bad audio when the last festival was active and this one is starting up. Audio is only broken in the Settlement too.

The sound bug that was present during the last festival has returned. I noticed you have started to add the next festival to the settlement so I am assuming this is the cause.

Only happens in the settlement. Sound cuts out, and crackles up. You cannot hear anything NPC say. If this happens again I will have to play the festival with my sound coming from a YouTube video.

@ubi-orion what I don’t get is the hair has no issues if I play as Female Eivor but it’s completely bugged for Male Eivor.

It happens on all hoods. I saw the mega bugs thread but this issue is not on there?

@ubi-woofer unfortunately I didn’t get any footage as I quickly completed it and I have not returned to Ravensthorpe since as it will just crash or lose sound.

Is anyone else having a nightmare with Eivor’s hair clipping through the hood? It has now got to a point where I am thinking about stopping playing. There is little point in stealth mission as my hair just shows through the hood.

Additionally the Celtic hair is broken on male Eivor. The braided hair the rests on this ear is stuck further up his head. If I switch to female Eivor then the glitch is not there.

Any help would be great? Or just knowing that it is a recognised issue.
