Taking a break from the broken fishing to start playing the new festivities, doing the Viking brawl, it froze then kicked from game completely, twice!!
first time got up to 5th round, froze then kicked.
Started up the game and tried again, this time up to 8th round, game froze and kicked again.
Checking to see if I got my winnings from being kicked now....
.....and no! No winnings despite winning the fights and being kicked from the game!
Ye know Ubisoft, instead of introducing these festivities that are actually broken, couldn’t you add the missing fish instead???
If I were actually in a store physically with a complaint of faulty goods, I’d demand to speak to a manager to get a full refund or a replacement that did work!
So with that said, I don’t want to talk to an Ubisoft agent, I want to talk and complain to one or all of the Devs, I want to talk to the organ grinder instead of the monkey to address all of our complaints and what they are doing to address this right now!!!
@brianjlee66
I didn’t even try that egg hunt carry on, the whole game is a mess and every update is making it worse.
After playing nearly every AC game all these years, to me this is by far the worst in terms of being broken and not being taken seriously by Ubisoft, when we have all tried to tell them it’s broken and to please (with sugar on top), to fix this.
I’m actually really tempted to ask one of those spoilt brats who review their games on YouTube to talk to Ubisoft, since they listen to them rather than their actual customers.
It’s been a while since I wrote anything voicing my opinion on gaming, more to the point Assassins Creed but here goes.
Before I get going, I feel I must warn those out there, those AC/Ubisoft die hard fan/followers/cultists that are easily offended, that I’m going to trash your love here and it will offend you because it’s the truth as I see it.
Like many reading this, I’ve been playing AC games since the start.
Absolutely love all the games, some more than others I must admit but I still love them because I loved playing them at the time.
With Origins and Odyssey I felt was a major step up in not only with some of the story, gameplay, rewards but with graphics also.
Yes every game has glitches, that’s expected and some worse than others but Origins & Odyssey were a game changer in the fact it kept you playing for months with dlcs and what have you.
The rewards felt like they were earned after giving a good fight to bosses and on winning them the rewards seemed justified, they weren’t all bad rewards.
Well the rewards you didn’t miss out on anyways eh Ubi?
Some of the story lines were tongue n cheek and actually funny to the point I was surprised they actually got away with what they did in Odyssey.
Like many I played that game for well over a year, it was that good. Ubisoft didn’t give you everything in one go, they made sure it lasted and you got your monies worth.
And by the way I also really loved Origins, how could I not?
I really looked forward to Valhalla when I was finally done with Odyssey, I couldn’t wait to play it being a fan of the Vikings tv show.
I thought it was going to blow the last two out the water with even better graphics, storylines, rewards and extra dlc.
But no.
I’ve lost total interest in this game after completing the main story.
Yeah there’s plenty still to collect and I’m not far off from getting 100% completion but I just can’t be arsed with it.
As soon as I started playing it I noticed the graphics were not as good as its predecessors, I felt it went backwards in that regard.
Yeah the hidden blade was back along with the mini in game games but the story and dialogue was disappointing too, but I still would have played it for months regardless of that.
So I persevered and I tried to figure out why this game just didn’t do it for me when I should be playing it right now in my spare time.
It was too easy and the rewards were...[censored].
Yeah I could’ve set it on a harder difficulty but the rewards would have been the same. [censored].
Yeah I got things to collect and little side quests to complete etc etc but nope, just lost interest.
There’s no challenge with no greater reward and I just can’t be arsed taking my virtual [censored] all over the place for hours on end with little reward to show for it other than having it, to use that reward against a bad [censored] boss that I’ve already beat?
Oh wait tho, there’s no one to beat already.
Yeah the completionist would normally push me on but no.
The micro transactions.
No!!!
Why??
For the same reasons above, no one to use my new weapons/gear on until next update and even then no!
But it’s not just because of that.
Even the update/expansions are crap.
As for the bugs/glitches.
I’m not wasting my money throwing my controller and smashing it to bits off the wall because I can’t catch a fish that’s supposed to be there when it ain’t.
The glitches are on par with AC 3, so nice one there Ubi.
I’ve seen all the comments on the threads of the missing fish and it’s also good to see Ubisoft is on par there too with how fast they communicate with players/customers and fix the problems that they left in while not listening to the players.
Instead Ubisoft will listen to YouTube reviewers instead who get the game for free and pay for nothing while rewarding them with free gifts for their spoilt [censored] opinion. Free gifts that they should be giving to their real loyal base paying fans/followers/worshipers, who will part with cash and give them free unbiased feedback right here, along with a heads up of any arising, potential ongoing problems that they just don’t listen to...or respect.
So I’m in no rush to fire up this game in my spare time and haul my virtual [censored] all over the virtual place in a game that’s far from fixed and won’t be fixed until Ubisoft start respecting the players that made them to start with instead of milking them.
The reason why I lost interest in this game and of Ubisoft is because they lost interest in us, except for our cash.
Oh and don’t hit me with the covid excuse as to why, we have all been affected by covid in some way shape or form.
Some of us have been looking forward to this game as an escape from real life so show a little respect and stfu.
If Ubisoft is professional enough to sell a game to the world during a worldwide pandemic, they should be professional enough to hear criticism from the people who buy their games, because after all, it’s the only way to make their games better. (And them richer!)
@boo-yah1907
sounds like a no buy Ubisoft games boycott could be on the cards.
Anyone actually think in this day and age where companies or high profile celebs can’t get away with crime anymore, that a company like this can get away with selling faulty goods??

Thank you Ubisoft for the free outfit, extra ovals and other goodies.
It is appreciated and does go a long way but there is a way still to go.
