@michalinos1390
Don't bother testing your PC for any issues, your PC is perfectly fine.
My RTX 3090 TUF is crashing in Valhalla the same as you with the nvidia stopped responding driver in event viewer every time it happens. (sometimes hours without a crash and sometimes every 5-10 mins), every other game I played is perfectly fine including cyberpunk which should be much more demanding than valhalla. I suspect the issue is that the drivers and the game isn't compatible with each other, causing an exception to be thrown and hence the game crashes.
I remember the same happened with wolfenstein ii the new colossus (with even BSODs not only crashes) and back then it was fixed by a game update (wasn't a driver issue).
I tried underclocking the core or raising/lowering the power limit, at first I thought my problem was fixed but it was a fluke and after few hours I got the same problem.
I built a new PC for my brother with RTX 3060 Ti and I tested Valhalla on it, and not to my surprise, exact same issue. The PC is new with everything on stock, the ram is even set on default, no XMP. So I gave up for now and probably won't be playing the game until Nvidia or Ubi fix this problem.
@gladi8ordude
Same for me!
Damn this game is a bugfest.. and that's sad because otherwise it's a great game.
Im able to loot the ring but when i go to the village Hilda is not there
@cleancrazy Same for me.
I can't finish the world event A Love Letter- Fisherman's Wife (Crushed Dreams).
I take the ring of the dead fisherman beside the rock, but when I go to Picheringa town I can't find his wife in there. I watched Youtube videos on where to find her but in my case she's not there, the Picheringa village looks like a ghosts town, can't even find anyone lol.
Tried loading and reloading the saves, even went to few days old saves but the same issue.
Has anyone found any fix for this?
Thanks.

As I said before but people kept ignoring me for some reason, the latest nvidia drivers and especially with this game are crap and don't work well with some monitor(s) configuration. I had two monitors connected and all the crashes stopped for good after I disconnected my second monitor. I am not saying this is a definite fix for everyone because some of you don't have have two monitors, but something is up with the drivers and they aren't stable at all.
It has been said in many forums that the nvidia drivers since the 3000 series broke many monitors setups with blackscreen crashes/hangs and what not, Gsync is almost broken for many as well. And those drivers are bad even for non-3000 series cards.
Valhalla itself is a bugfest with their new ubi connect app, and with these new drivers it just got worse.

Hello,
I can't finish the world event A Love Letter- Fisherman's Wife (Crushed Dreams).

Tried loading and re-loading the save, even went to few days old saves but the same issue. As a test, I tried going back to a few weeks old save I manually did and the quest worked fine but I am really not willing to repeat ~40 hours of gameplay for this event.
Has anyone encountered this and if so, found any fix?
Hello, been having an issue since I installed Valhalla months ago, whenever I hover over few photos (like 4 of 5 photos) of mine on the world map I get this:
Hovering over other people's photos works fine, it's just my photos that have this issue.
What I tried so far:
Reinstalled the game and the Ubisoft Connect.
Tried from another PC with fresh Windows installation.
Tried to connect from my mobile 4G internet using hotspot instead of my main internet as I thought it might have been my internet.
Nothing helped. I searched online and found some people with the same issue but seems like it's not widespread.
Please fix this!
Thanks.
The newest update didn't fix the issue for me even though the changelog mentioned a fix for it!
From changelog: "Addressed an issue in Crushed Dreams that prevented players from completing the world event as the wife is in a dead state."
My problem is that she's not even there at all..
Exact same issue here. Got to this topic from a Google search, I couldn't find any fix so far. My specs: Ryzen 5950x, 3090. 32GB RAM and a 4K monitor. At this point I think it's probably a compatibility issue with Ryzen CPUs but I could be wrong. Worth mentioning that I tried it on an Intel PC (i5 12th gen) with exact same Win 10 build (21H2) and it worked fine.
What I tried so far based on the recommendations I saw online:
The issue me and the OP have is different than the popular black screen one which can simply be fixed by forcing the game to use DX9 in the GamerProfile.xml file.
It's just a splash screen for a few seconds then it disappears immediately from both the taskbar and task manager.

@daredevil313 You should read the last 2 pages, the hotfix is useless and "fixed" nothing regarding Valhalla.
@redindianrobin
What card do you have and drivers? As I said, it can happen with one monitor if high refresh rate or G-Sync enabled. If so, try to lower down the refresh rate if it's above 60hz or disable G-Sync if enabled and test.
@longjohn119
It's a complicated combination TBH. Actually it might only happen with certain multi-monitor configs and not all. And ye I suspect this specific multi monitor issue to be isolated to 3000 series and the new drivers.
