@drownoble Denuvo makes games unplayable on older i5/i7 CPUs that can run modern games just fine without it.
Any update to this? I imagine Ubisoft is doing it on purpose so they can force users into online mode to stuff ads/microtransactions in their faces; issue is that some people have serious data caps and slow internet.
Doesn't matter if I'm using Medium or Ultra settings; I get consistent sutttering; tried on two PCs including i7 7800X on PCIE SSD with 32GB RAM and 1080Ti as well as i5 9400 with 8GB RAMl and 1070Ti. Disabling overlay and using offline mode did not help. I can't believe how bad the performance is; never bought a game that played this bad since Daykatana.
Impossible to use my resolution
So I can't figure this out; even setting my resolution to 3440x1440 in game and in the cfg file doesn't work; I can clearly see it is actually rendering at far less than that resolution; looks more like 1920x1080; rendering scale is my suspicion but max render scale is some weird resolution; my actual resolution is not listed and I cannot set the frame rendering scale thing to 0; it stops at 25. Very irritating. This is why I had stopped playing before; was hoping it was fixed by now...but nope. Issue is replicable; I have seen it with Nvidia and AMD cards; in Windows 7 and 10, in Vulkan and DX11.
Same issue here in 2023; fresh install of Windows 10 Pro, Uplay, and GPU driver:

Repeatable in multiple ubisoft titles; Ubisoft Client repeated crashes when changing game resolution to/from 6880x2880 and gives some sort of C++ error. This does not occur with GoG, Matrix, Slitherine, Origin, or Steam titles; only Ubisoft.
Specs: i7 10920X@stock (up to 4.6/4.8Ghz)/32GB DDR 4 XMP@3200Mhz/RTX 3080Ti 12GB; occurs with multiple Nvidia drivers.

Ngreedia wants you to upgrade even though Keppler is plenty capable; just look at Hawaii GPUs like the 290X from the same era as Keepler being able to run this game.
Started happening to me after about 10 hours of play time; first time during a raid after playing for 2.5 hours straight; happened again on same raid within 3 minutes of loading that save. i7 7800X/1080Ti and 32GB RAM. First freeze occurred with a Division 2 update starting even though I had pause downloads when playing.
