@madhawk80 Yeah I just did the same thing, you can still crack Alytn helmets just as easily with the peircing ammo. My other gripe is that even with A 50 or peircing ammo, you cannot shoot out drivers of trucks because of the "glass..." like i just shattered that dudes/ chicks hardened steel hemlet, I'm pretty sure my .50 bmg is going to puncture your steel box like a paper punch and a bit of glass isn't going to matter much.
Seems like ubisoft downgrades.
Make it free to play to play/download with owndership of fc5 or 6 and link an advert to it through the menu screen, this would give further incentive for players to buy those new oufit items. I mean, equalize the advantages from outfits and the backpack and just trade it for our beloved rocks tho.
Farcry three for free is nice but arcade is just as good.
Its not out yet but looking at the bits and pieces of what info is out its looking really disappointing to players potential returning to the series.
-link the full article here, its pretty brief though.
I have issue with mostly this chunk below.
In the Division: Heartland, you can play as one of six available agents. There will also be an option to select between three classes in a match where each will possess its own unique set of perks and skills.
Preselected classes? Premade characters? Some of the main reason i like the division is because i got to build my own agent, customize the abilities, modify them with scars and different haircuts bit it sounds like they are cutting that section out entirely.
It goes on to explain some other potential game modes that i was okay with but as a pve player mostly, i would have been more than happy with a pve survival experience instead of a pvepvp with 2 human teams and one team of ai rouges. It sounds like a returning game mode from the div 1 but i never was interested in it for a few reasons. The games pvp has been not great in the past, and to suggest to double down on it and expand on it is something i just don't think the series should return to unless there is some major tweaking involved that levels the playing feild of all the players so you don't have a heavy imbalances of teams who spam instantly refreshing abilities, or chunky tank builds that are damn near impossible to kill and frustrates players that can shoot those users in the face and do literally no damage. With less customization, id imagine that the games not going to get any better either. I was pleased with the first two games, im here because i just see a concern for this upcoming title.
Ultimately to me, the preset classes is for last gen or mobile games, not a multibillion dollar tripple a rated development studio, this is just under par of the "craig" fiasco gamers had with the 343 studios producing the latest infinte game. Id rather wait and get an experience worth the time and money instead of feeling used for my patronage like how i felt after playing the last far cry game that didn't have a multi-player component, and a way overpriced dlc for a game that just feels like a rehash of 3 and 4. Yeah the new vehicles are okay, the tanks are unique but carcasses clip through the treads and flip them, then the physics go ballistic. AA gun emplacements are sometimes completely unguarded and sometimes the enemies respawn as soon as a character changes a region on the minimap sometimes leaving to some [censored] firefight in areas that had been previously cleared out.
This turned into kind of a rant. I guess i just like these games a lot, feel free to agree or disagree yourself but as a lifetime gamer, these trends concern me and id like to see them at least aired to breathe the greivences.
It can shatter helmets and continue straight through the head but for whatever reason lacks the kinetic energy to kill in one hit? Who decided that a nerf to the largest weapon caliber in the game was acceptable before releasing this?
A lot of people have gripes about this game for personal reasons like the feature of a trans character that you kill soldatos to pay off debt to a smuggler so that they can come to the U.S. Now i may not give a [censored] what that person identifys as but its really [censored] annoying that Ubisoft keeps advertising the U.S. as a nation that anyone is acceptable in coming here, reguardless of who they are. Sorry, trans people are fine, nobody gives a [censored] it you have [censored] and a [censored] as long as your not shoving that information in their ears and eyes every 5 seconds. Short of them being different in a nation that is having a crisis thats not okay for you to override my nations sovereignty with your propaganda and encourage people to come here. The example being that trans person, who again- not an issue that they are trans, the issue is that they are a smuggler. We have about half of the people here about ready to create the actual edens gate because of messaging like that. You need to [censored] stop this Ubisoft. Also great job letting Ubisoft Shanghai work on far cry 5 and the division. That worked out for the entire world really well.... Im starting to think Ubisoft is evil.
No need to change your game, it is fiction after all, but remember these stories sometimes inspire action because they lay out unrealistic ideals. Or even worse, a blueprint for people to follow.
If i am a guerrilla fighter, the last thing I want is some janky [censored] homemade weapons from some poor jungle dwellers, im not sure whos creative design choice it was to prevent players from picking up the weapons off of dead enemies but it really breaks the game for me to the point I want to return it.
And why cant i shoot out a single light? "Stealth based my [censored]"
Definitely not worth 60 bucks for that alone.
Have you ever considered that my input wasn't directed at any of you?
Like this, if you love the Far Cry Arcade.
Where is my infinte pocket full of rocks? So your telling me i have pockets for a cellphone, i can carry 2 rifles up my [censored], A handgun, a flamethrower, c4, dynamite, molotovs but I don't get my facking rocks?
The earlier games are amazing, we all love them, but as we moved onto better generations of farcry we got the ability to put away weapons while walking and running, the developers should go back and retroactively add that feature to the earlier titles via digital download updates. I don't always like walking with an AK out pointing it at the npcs while talking to vendors, to mission givers and walking into cutscenes. I think it would enhance the player experience. Please consider.

Oh and please, give this console support.... immediately. We love this game and would like to continue playing it. Please and thank you.
Played over 3,500 arcade games and played 730 hours.

I think the dev team should consider updating the throwables interaction. I find myself scrambling for grenades in the cycle and skipping them in that critical moment of gameplay when the issue could be solved with the implementation of a weapons wheel that toggles in parallel to the system we currently have, this would serve the players that are currently used to the feature but also can serve players like myself that are a bigger fan of the weapon wheel system like in the far cry series.
Like this, if you love the Far Cry Arcade.
@nomis_2002 lot of people returning to the series are pretty [censored] that there was no arcade reurning to the series either. If your looking for a good 4 man experience, id suggest ghost recon wildlands, its a 3rd person veiw but weapons can be aimed / fired in first person perspective so it kinda evens out.

I agree, i would like a save scene option, where it gives a sceencap of what you were doing when you saved and then lists it in the pause menu, that way we could repeat the same scenes multiple times or retry a challenge again and again.
