@agdowdall After I completed the way of the berserker I added Bjorn to my crew but when he is walking around Ravensthorpe he still has a "recruit" icon" when you walk up to him.

Same problem. I am on PS4.
So about to waste 22 hours of game play and 40 power levels. Not happy.
Have already tried "Options > Interface > General Tab > Set “Hold Alternative” to “Off”" This had no effect.
Have already tried loading the previous auto save - had no effect.
The save data files are corrupted as my manual save 2 I did just before drinking the potion in the seers hut is still taking me into asgard.
My previous and only non quest line save is at 38 hours game play, whereas I started the quest at 60 hours game play.
For the record who came up with the bright idea to take players into a quest line that can not extract from but most complete to continue.
If I am asked to send save files to support you will need to provide me with detailed instructions as I am in the "mature" gamer age bracket and even logginginto these forums took me some time.

I also have the Sons of Ragnar chapter 1 speak with Ubba bug.
no quest marker
I have spoken to ubba and his brother down at the docks and replied that the yet to be "king" was already planning his succession by us taking his son into the battle. The quest still requires me to talk to Ubba.
Approximately 80 hours game play, level 110+.
Looted all wealth in repton except 1 underground item, looted most of the items in ledecestrescire. Looted almost all items in grantebridgescire and have completed that areas quest and now have an alliance with grantebridgescire.
Just prior to attempting to do the speak to ubba part of the sons of ragnar quest I completed the The Way of the Berserker quest and made Bjorn part of my crew.
Prior to attempting to speak to ubba I had previously traveled back to norway, killed a few reindeer, then travelled back to england.
I have also got the Mild Hunt quest bug. Before leaving norway I collected the 3 reindeer antlers but still had no quest marker to hand in the 3 reindeer antlers. I have since travelled to england and back to norway, collected more reindeer antlers but still have no Mild Hunt quest listed nor a quest marker, so unable to donate antlers. Prior to getting the quest I had already killed the legendary Elk.
I have also got a Bakers Plaint quest bug. Built the bakery, spoke to Tarben, he asked me to help retrieve some grain, agreed I could help, got error CE 34878 e, quest is no longer available and Tarben does not wish to talk to me.

Logged in today. Accepted both Reda quests. Only 1 quest showed up in the quest log and only 1 quest marker appeared on the map. Did the quest that showed up (kill the predator), got the 5 opal. Still no 2nd quest.
Logged out, closed application (on PS4), restarted game, went to Reda, accepted 2nd quest again, still no quest in quest log or quest marker.

I have the same issue. Now have 12, 20 and 5 arrows. Had previously upgraded to 18 or 20 hunter arrows. Upgrade bar still shows the quiver has been partly upgraded.

@mzs627 When I first started the game post patch I also couldn't talk to Ubba. I saved the game, logged out to the title screen, closed the application (I am on PS4), started the game again, was able to talk to Ubba and progress in the quest line.
I am now up to the Heavy is the Head part of the kingmakers saga.

If you reread my post you will note that I stated "After restarting the game I no longer have the quest and Tarben no longer wishes to talk to Eivor." Therefore I am unable to respond to "I'm curious to know if 'Error CE-34878-0' is what you're receiving each time you try to complete this quest?" If the quest no longer appears how can I respond to "you're receiving each time".
If "'Error CE-34878-0'" is a playstation side error then 1. I have already undertaken all the steps noted in the troubleshooting technical issues guide 2. how does the playstation side error stop the quest reappearing again? 3. What if anything is / can be done to get this quest back?
For the record, as noted in other threads, the 'Error CE-34878-0' is not an uncommon error for many players of your game. Personally I would get at least 1 x 'Error CE-34878-0' every 5-10 hours game play. I often get this error when attempting to speak to the NPC in the settlement trading post. I now always do a save before entering the trading post so at least reloading my game doesn't waste any extra play time.
For your information, given that I also have the close the door and ubba quest bugs, so I am unable to progress in either of the games story / quest lines, I am filling in my time by completing everything I can in the various regions. So far I have looted most / all possible items (some can't be looted without quest progression) in Grantebridgescire, Ledecestrescire, East Anglia, Oxenefordscire and Lunden. I have also unlocked all map high points, looted almost all opal, a significant portion of titanium, completed most / all flyting, orlog, flying paper. Approximately 135 hours game play and level 175.

I previously posted this bug but have had no response. So...
After building the bakery, I got the dialogue with the Tarben the baker, I agreed to "retrieve some grain from a grain merchant down the river.". Immediately after agreeing to help I then got a Error CE-34878-0 error. After restarting the game I no longer have the quest and Tarben no longer wishes to talk to Eivor.
I also have the Asgard close the door and Sons of Ragnar speak to Ubba bugs.

@lahunha I had the same message appear yesterday whilst I was doing the World Event - Nostalgia. The world event NPC did not start to fall asleep, so unable to select one of the dialogue options to keep the story going. Hence unable to complete the world event. I ended up closing the game and then reloading a manual save from earlier in the day. Problem was solved. I just had to redo a few things to "catch up" to where I was previously up to. After having both the Asgard and sons of Ragnar bugs (and losing 22 hours game play), I try to remember to do a manual save every 15-30 minutes.
