I only found out today how I could have entered Ile de La Cite after the siege. Only to find that update 1.3.1 had blocked it before I could take advantage of it. What benefit is there in that? Why should Eivor not be able to get in to 'finish things off'? It seems an utterly stupid idea to block areas off in that way. It's a game, not real life. The only way to do so is if you kept a save from during the siege of Paris. That's okay from the standpoint of finding everything, which I think I did anyway, but it would nice just to have a look round without the world falling around about your ears. A lot of work must have gone into creating Ile de la Cite buildings, etc. If I was on the team that created them, I would be very unhappy that people don't have a chance to look round properly. As far as I am aware this is not a problem in other games. The earlier games there are areas blocked off for missions, but missions can be replayed ad infinitum, should one wish to simply have a look at a place (or find things you missed the first time). Neither Origins nor Odyssey had blocked off areas. Blocking off Ile de la Cite again after the siege is a bad idea. I do not understand the thinking behind it. I could understand it before the siege, but afterwards? I made a diplomatic agreement after the siege. I honestly had expected the gates to be wide open, afterwards.
