Update: I did a "Verify Files" on the game since many said that helped. Which is sort of true but not for me and this is why.
After I verify I see my items is back, HOWEVER all my upgrades I did on gear is GONE. And runes I had in my armors are also GONE.
In other words this is NOT a fix...
I want my gear as it was after I fully upgraded it, and I want my runes back! I am not gonna spend a lot of resources upgrading my gear again.. + Trying find my awesome runes.

This is wrong. Yes I got my gear back + helix credits. BUT gear is back to how it was when I bough it on store. NOT upgraded and Zero runes.

So this still happens since game came out for me.
And I just had a fresh windows 10 installment yesterday..
As well my pc is pretty good here are my stats:

Cpu: Intel i9-9900K
Gpu: Asus Rtx 3080 Tuf Gaming Oc.
Ram: Corsair Vengeance Pro 32gig.
Drive: Samsung Evo 860 1TB.
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.

Please explain how so many people have this issue still after the "big patch"? mean not only that, but I also get error messages still by watching other peoples screenshot ingame.
I play a lot of games, and Valhalla is the only game that given me these "freeze" crashes. Everything just freezes yet sound etc still going. And I need use taskmanager to close the game..

So yeah I have this issue still today at date: 07/12-2020

@ubiwan Yes I can show you screenshot about the error code when I try look on other's screenshots ingame.
Wierdly enough this happens only in England, did not happen in Norway or in "Asgard".

I know it sais "Too many requests" I am thinking maybe game think I looked on to many screenshots in a short time. But this error comes when I look on just 1 screenshot, even after I been offline from the game and just login.

Another reguard, sorry if my post seem angry, but I got so frustrated not to be able to do the quest, I should have counted to 10 or 100 before I made the post. I love your game, just these small things that makes me upset sometimes, but I am pretty sure it can be fixed?

I tried to finish this Anomaly 6 times now but same bug everytime I try.
Game will not let me interact with the last projector. However I got it to interact last time I tried, then I pointed it at correct block.
But when I went up the blocks all the sudden the block I had pointed it at had no laser on it...
Can you please fix game? and I climb back down to try point it again at the last block and then I couldn't interract with the projector again "gee thanks"

Another bug I have is if I try look at peoples screenshots ingame, I get an online server bug error. Tried follow your steps how to "fix it myself" with change password on my account and what not, nothing works.

I saw newest patch were suppose to fix the crash we get from watching other people screenshots in the world of Assassin Creed Valhalla..
However I still get that "online error code" and belive me I have tryed everything, including changing my password to my account and countless more things.
So I really hoped this patch was going to fix it, but it did not for me.. Am I the only one? or are others also still having this issue?
I really hope it will be fixed for good soon, Kinda sad I cannot see beautiful and funny/cool pictures people take, and not able to rate them

@piercehead Found a "fix" for now. Verify Files + load and older save file when you are ingame, this restores gear you had with runes + upgrades. How long this will last is a better question.

i read in another thread that if you verify your game files the dissapeard gear will come back, tried it. it worked.
BUT!!! the level of the gear was reset to default when i got it. i had all my drugar gear maxed out.

Update:
Manually loaded an older game save. the gear was in the right level and im back to business.

I can confirm this works, but the question is how long?

I try the verifierd files will see it seems that i have 2go of corrupted files

I did this, and I got my gear back. However it wasn't my gear. Since I got the store gear back and helix credits BUT gear I got was as it was first time I bough it, NOT upgraded and NO runes in them. So this confirmed don't work as it should.

This is sort of correct. I got my stuff back, however I had upgraded all my gear to max, and now I got my gear back as it came from the store NOT upgraded + all my runes in the gear is gone. GG
