@andrewlee32 Just let the cut-scene start, go to options..put graphics on ultra..game will restart..cut-scene plays though and didn't glitch/hang. was able to continue with game.

I FOUND A SOLUTION <3. Mess around with video settings then try again. Mess with it until it works. The guy in this post states that he swaps to the highest setting, loading, going through the cutscene and then resetting his video settings. The highest setting didn't work for me. neither did the lowest. But what did work.... is do it in this order.
FROM MAIN MENU swap from whatever settings to ULTRA. When prompted to restart the game, do that. Restart, load, and it'll launch you into the conversation cutscene. DO NOT SKIP THE DIALOGUE. Let it play out. After much trial and error, it worked and this is what worked for me'

Same thing..Long black loading, screen then charactors are standing in middle of room..unresponsive to any keyboard inputs except <escape>
